Historical information related to the Christian churches in Sri Lanka evidence that the church always attempted to not involve in political issues except for the nationalization of catholic schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a remarkable situation and people agreed with the church\u2019s stand. However, the ARAGALAYA has brought a negative stand for the church and Rev.Balangoda Kassapa publicly expressed that the church has been supporting the ARAGALAYA against Buddhism.
