Researchers for decades have attempted to recreate nuclear fusion \u2013 replicating the fusion that powers the sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>US Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm will make an announcement Tuesday on a major scientific breakthrough,\u201d the department announced Sunday.
