Lankaweb Poetry Corner by Sunil Kumar<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n

In the shadows of my weary soul,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 A haunting presence takes its toll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A weight upon my fragile heart,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 As sadness weaves its sublime art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like an Autumn’s fading light,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

emotions dimmed and veiled from sight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 A somber melody softly plays,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

as tears now dance in silent haze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A tempest brews within my core,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

unveiling scars of pain once more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The echoes of a broken dream,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 reside within this saddened stream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each tear that falls upon my cheek,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 a language only sadness speaks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through desolate nights, I search for light, but darkness reigns with all its might.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet in the depths of sorrow’s hold,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

a glimmer of hope begins to unfold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 For in the tapestry of my despair,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 I find the strength to still repair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sadness, though a heavy weight,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 can guide me to a brighter fate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For through its veil, I learn to grow,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to cherish joys that freely flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So let this sadness be my guide,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

to depths of self I cannot hide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

navigating seas of pain,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 I’ll find solace and peace again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For in the ebb and flow of tears,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 lie  seeds of growth for future years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With courage as my steadfast guide,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 I’ll rise above sadness, side by side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And though the darkness may hold sway,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 I’ll find the strength to face each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For within  depths of my own soul,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll overcome, once more be whole.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
