Dushantha Rodrigo (Bishop of Colombo) Chairman of the Board of Governors of Bishops College?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The College website [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bishopscollege.lk\/chairpersons-message\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.bishopscollege.lk\/chairpersons-message\/<\/a>]&nbsp;proclaims that &#8220;The Rt. Rev. The school was founded by the then Anglican Bishop of Colombo, Bishop James Chapman (1845 to 1862) and his wife Frances, originally in 1857 as a mission school for girls of elite Christian families and other European residents. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bishopscollege.lk\/profile\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.bishopscollege.lk\/profile\/<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dilith Jayaweera is an old boy of the Roman Catholic bastion of St Aloysius&#8217; College, Galle. He has not only made of parody of Prince Siddhartha stated wrong interpretations of Buddha Dharmaya, He said that &#8220;the Buddha solved problems of society of that era, meaning that therefore Buddhism is an obsolete philosophy inappropriate for modern society. The truth is Lord Buddha found solution to the eternal problems of karmic carryovers which brought unhappiness in rebirth.
