Witnessing a lack of proper action, he highlighted widespread theft under the guise of investments that took place within the SLC, leading to his resignation,&#8221; he said during a visit to Kandy to meet the Maha Nayaka Theras of the Malwathu and Asgiri Chapters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/youtu.be\/OaRGqx9e5h4\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Expressing his commitment to oust corrupt officials, the Minister said he was planning for a proactive approach over the past year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I appointed an Interim Committee to identify corrupt officials at SLC.
