This is organized in line with the \u2018Buddha Rashmi\u2019 national Vesak festival celebrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The live telecast of \u2018Diyawanna Vesak Zone 2024\u2019 through the ITN channel also began simultaneously in the opening day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Vesak Zone consists of decorative Vesak lanterns and colourful light displays illuminating Denzil Kobbekaduwa Mawatha and the Ministry of Defence road in Battaramulla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today will be the final day of one of the most colourful Vesak celebratory events of this year and the organizers invite all to visit the Diyavanna Vesak Zone in Battaramulla and witness the dazzling display of Vesak lanterns and decorative illumination.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ministry of Defence \u00a0&#8211; Media Centre The Diyawanna Vesak Zone 2024, organized by the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with the Independent Television Network (ITN) will conclude tonight (May 25).
