O<\/span>ne of\u00a0Russia<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0top propagandists<\/a>\u00a0has unveiled\u00a0seven targets<\/a>\u00a0in the UK, which\u00a0Vladimir Putin<\/a>\u00a0could strike in retaliation to sir\u00a0Keir Starmer<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0military help<\/a>\u00a0to Ukraine.<\/p>\n

London<\/a>, Kent, Manchester, Birmingham and Portsmouth are on the Kremlin\u2019s \u2018hit list\u2019 to \u2018collapse British society\u2019.<\/p>\n

TV host and State Duma lawmaker Yevgeny Popov made the threat on the state-run Rossiya 1 TV channel.<\/p>\n

In addition to main cities, he said Putin would target Devonport\u00a0\u2013 the largest naval base\u00a0in Western Europe \u2013 and the home of Britain\u2019s nuclear weapons in Scotland.<\/p>\n

Popov said: \u2018Special attention to Britain, our traditional enemy, as a significant part of the [Russian] Northern Fleet will work against [the UK].<\/p>\n

\u2018Under attack Washington has put not only\u00a0London, but Manchester, Birmingham, the largest naval base Devonport, the Clyde in Scotland, where the King stores his Trident nuclear missiles, Portsmouth as well as Chatham Dockyard in the county of Kent.<\/p>\n

\u2018This is Britain at its most vulnerable. Basically, all it would take is three missiles and this civilisation would collapse.\u2019<\/p>\n

Popov was raging over US plans to deploy Tomahawk cruise missiles,\u00a0hypersonic weapons\u00a0and Standard Missile-6 (SM-6) to Germany.<\/p>\n

In a statement last week, the White House confirmed the weapons will be sent in 2026 in a bid to demonstrate its commitment to\u00a0Nato and European defence.ahlem, [and] Ramstein.\u2019<\/p>\n
