The Skills of the Negotiator or the Negotiating Team — is in the Result!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like Good Soldiers do not make World Leaders. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting a PhD or a Professorship Does Not Mean that these educated bods Have Any Empathy!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personally I would Never Hire anyone with a PhD or a DSc as a manager!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Negotiation is a Calculated Logical  Communication Skill.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And Negotiations with the <\/strong>IMF require More Sales Skill than brain power of Isaac Newton.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Basics of Global Negotiations are in English! —– Period!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sri Lanka Diplomats I have met are more likely to do a Charlie Chaplin on negotiations.  They Lack Skill & Charisma!.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, when entering the negotiation table, it is always good for the Host to start with a light-hearted joke to break the ice.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make everybody laugh. Cuts down the stoik official seriousnous.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my negotiations with British is much easier to start. So do Americans. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But my discussions with Russian officials was difficult to start. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Middle East Arabs like the Saudi Arabians are quite serious.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Singaporeans, the best way to win is over a relaxed dinner.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
