Do not have any doubts about that,\u201d said Jayasinghe, emphasizing the government\u2019s efforts to prioritize public sector wage reforms.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also acknowledged the persistent concerns about salary disparities in the education sector. Many people are asking about the two-thirds salary disparity for teachers. We are already conducting the necessary preliminary discussions to resolve this issue,\u201d he added.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Highlighting the government\u2019s plans for educators, the Deputy Minister noted that five services\u2014teachers, principals, educational administrators, teacher educators, and teacher advisors\u2014are being considered for inclusion among the top 10 salary scales.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discussions are currently underway to not only address the salary scales but also to improve the quality of these services.
