Introduction

Julie Chung, the then US Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs met with the Haitian President Jovenal Moise, just before his assassination, nearly one year before the almost murder of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. She presented her credentials to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on 25 February 2022, just 34 days before the Mirihana Incident. Thus, Julie Chung was posted from that Caribbean crime scene to a new meeting place of witches and warlocks here in Sri Lanka.

Prior to the eruption of protests Chung had met with almost all Ministers, leading politicians affiliated to all registered political parties, high ranking military officers including Commanders, religious dignitaries (of all denominations), custodians of temples and churches, NGO bosses, so-called civil society activists, media personnel, business captains, professionals, academics, scientists, marine biologists, those graduated from US universities, LGBTQ activists, visual artists, youth leaders, women leaders, war affected and displaced persons, differently abled persons, some of them more than on one occasion. Many of these men and women played a vital role in the Galle Face Protest and ousting Gotabaya Rajapaksa, her first victory was achieved in Sri Lanka.

We have documented howJulie Chung began her work as the US Ambassador to Sri Lanka, the people she met with before 31 March 2022 and after the ouster of Gotabaya Rajapaksa, her role in the disgraceful regime change in 2022 and how she interfered with the internal affairs of Sri Lanka in our book, Galle Face Protest: Systems Change or Anarchy?” (July, 2023) and her Viceroy role thereafter in our Lanka Web News articles respectively.

On 21 March 2024, the former Speaker revealed for the first time in the Parliament foreign powers, some local politicians, a prominent Buddhist priest and a Catholic religious leader have pressured him to take over the Presidencyduring the Galle Face Protest. Although he had not mentioned who were the foreign powers behind the coup, it was obvious that he was referring to Julie Chung and Co. He disclosed that the objective of those was to make Sri Lanka another Libya or an Afghanistan (see our article: Speaker’s Statement: Julie Chung and Her Fellow Conspirators in the Dock Again”, posted on March 27, 2024). But the former Speaker maintained an apologetic silence about the alleged visit of the unanticipated visitor Chung to his official residence.

Former Speaker not acceding to her request marked a temporary setback to Chung’s grand conspiracy. But in 2024 she made amends to the temporary setback bringing forth NPP government and crowning Harini Amarasuriya, the glorified representative of LGBTQ community as the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka.

Julie Chung continued her sinister activities vigorously after theregime change in 2022.
