You claim genocide, occupation, and structural erasure. These are serious allegations that demand serious evidence \u2014 legal proof, forensic data, documented history, and verifiable records \u2014 not slogans, flags, or emotional scripting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) 4 FEBRUARY 1948 \u2013 BLACK DAY FOR TAMILS\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This slogan is a deliberate distortion of history<\/strong>, constructed around the Indian Tamil plantation labour repatriation issue<\/strong>, which has nothing whatsoever to do with the so-called \u2018Ceylon Tamils\u2019 or Sinhala discrimination<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a political myth retroactively imposed on Independence Day to manufacture a grievance-based separatist narrative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THERE WAS NO SUCH CATEGORY AS CEYLON TAMIL\u201d BEFORE 1911<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is not opinion<\/strong> \u2014 it is documented historical fact.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ethnic category Ceylon Tamil\u201d did NOT exist prior to the British Census of 1911.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Portuguese, Dutch, and early British administrative records never used<\/strong> the term Ceylon Tamil\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone asserting otherwise must produce authenticated primary documentary evidence.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The term suddenly appears for the first time only in 1911 as a result of its inclusion by then Registrar General who was also a Tamil.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        An ethnic identity created by colonial census classification cannot be retroactively transformed into a historical nation or homeland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        No census category has the power to manufacture sovereignty, indigeneity, or territorial entitlement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        WHAT REALLY HAPPENED IN 1948?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The Ceylon Citizenship Act of 1948<\/strong> did NOT target Ceylon Tamils.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        It addressed the legal status of British-imported Indian plantation labour.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          SHOULD SRI LANKA HAVE AUTOMATICALLY GRANTED CITIZENSHIP?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          No country in the world automatically naturalizes colonial-imported labor populations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            The Sinhalese did not bring Indian Tamils. The Colonials did.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            This was entirely a British colonial labour import project.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            To frame this as Sinhala discrimination<\/strong> is historically fraudulent.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            TAMIL HOMELAND\u201d CLAIM COLLAPSES COMPLETELY<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                                          It is contradictory to permanently live abroad, build lives and futures in Western societies, and simultaneously claim an exclusive homeland\u201d in Sri Lanka \u2014 a land that most of you neither reside in, invest in, nor intend to return to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                                          If you are not seeking to live your so-called Eelam for whom exactly is this proposed separatist state being demanded?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                                          Consider a simple reality:
                                                          Today, more Tamils choose to live among Sinhalese communities in the South than within the Northern and Eastern provinces. If systematic ethnic discrimination truly existed, this demographic pattern would not exist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                                          Why do Tamil families voluntarily settle in Sinhala-majority areas?
                                                          Because:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                                          • They find safety<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                                          • They find economic opportunity<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                                                          • They find social coexistence<\/li>\n\n\n\n

                                                            Equally important \u2014 long-standing caste-based discrimination in the North and East has pushed many Tamils to seek better social mobility outside their own traditional power structures. This is a reality rarely acknowledged in diaspora discourse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                                            Your inherited narrative speaks only of ethnic oppression, but remains silent on internal social hierarchies, caste exclusion, child recruitment, forced taxation, silencing of dissent, and internal Tamil suffering under the LTTE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                                            You were not raised on comprehensive history or its truth.
                                                            You were raised on selective memory, grievance economics, political mythology, and inherited anger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                                            True peace begins when truth is confronted honestly \u2014 not when history is reshaped to sustain permanent victimhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                                            Justice is not achieved by rewriting a fake history<\/p>\n\n\n\n
