AT END WHO WON THE ELECTION?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><strong>By M D P DISSANAYAKE<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The new government is already being pushed to the corner, whilst President Mathreepala Sirisena is safe in his role constitutionally, Mr Ranil Wickremasinghe is not safe as the Prime Minister.\u00a0 Firstly, he has obtain the majority confidence on the floor of the House to comply with the constitution.\u00a0 Secondly he has to accept every\u00a0\u00a0Tom. Dick and Harry of UPFA\u00a0 to obtain the majority confidence.
