I watched them disappear<\/p>\n

Just like\u00a0Miss Lucy\u00a0disappeared<\/p>\n

From my life forever<\/p>\n

I lost my Lucy and her love<\/p>\n

Like the fast moving train<\/p>\n

She departed forever<\/p>\n

Now I am living without her love<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I wonder where she is now<\/p>\n

Is she thinking about me?<\/p>\n

Has she found love and\u00a0happiness?<\/p>\n

Or else she misses me<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Illinois Central is empty<\/p>\n

Like my empty aching heart<\/p>\n

I am still looking for\u00a0Miss Lucy<\/p>\n

Who was a part of my life<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I see the long train running<\/p>\n

Its wheels go ’round and ’round<\/p>\n

Like the train\u2019s \u00a0wheels<\/p>\n

My thoughts too\u00a0go ’round and ’round<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I am Thinking about Miss Lucy<\/p>\n

Day and night<\/p>\n

Living without her love<\/p>\n

Truly it is a heartbreaking<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Where would Lucy be now?<\/p>\n

If she stayed with me<\/p>\n

Like the\u00a0long train running<\/p>\n

She fastly moved from my life<\/p>\n

Leaving emptiness in my heart<\/p>\n
