Mr. Thomas Kemmann (3rd from Right) is seen handing over to Mr. Senaka Weeraratna (Hony. Secretary, GDS ) a booklet containing
\noriginal poems written by Walther Schmits when he was alive in the 1950s under the title ‘ An meine Freunde’ ( To My Friends) which
\nwas gifted to the GDS by the Frowein family ( relatives of Walther Schmits) of Wuppertal, Germany.<\/p>\n

Over 250 people including Sri Lankans, Germans, Thais, Cambodians and the like attended the Vesak day celebrations at Berlin Vihara.<\/p>\n
