Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that under a new government they will intend to legislate a minimum monthly wage of Rs.25,000 for the government sector employees.<\/p>\n
The observation was made at a political rally held in Kuruwita last evening (18).<\/p>\n
He also pointed out that the government has so far failed to offer Rs. 10,000 salary increment for the government sector which they promised during the last presidential election.<\/p>\n
