It is quite plain after nearly 200 days of Yahapalanaya, that \u00a0Yahapalanaya \u00a0is only a hoax and a ruse. The promises made and the inability to bring to justice anybody of significance for any significant wrongdoings has now boomeranged on the Yahapalanaya proponents.<\/p>\n

This is the slogan that was introduced to bring down the Mahinda Rajapakse Administration. Now it is being used for the Parliamentary Election on 17th<\/sup> August \u2013 on the basis that people have short memories. The trouble is that they have the gall to still insist that there was Yahapalanaya during this less than 200 days of Vairee Palanaya of Amaithri Sirisena and Christian Ranil. \u00a0Vairee Sirisena \u00a0did everything under the sun to undermine Good Governance.\u00a0 From appointing Christian Ranil as Prime Minister contravening the constitution, without even informing the incumbent, to illegally deposing a sitting Chief Justice, to bringing back a legally deposed Chief Justice back to office for a day and appointing another in place, Vairee Sirisena showed his Good Governance\u201d and his love for democracy and rule of Law!<\/p>\n

Ranilta kole vahala Gahanna bari wuna! <\/strong><\/p>\n

The 19th<\/sup> Amendment to the constitution as contemplated by Ranil was an attempt to divert all powers under the President to those under the Prime Minister. If the powers that the President had were dictatorial then what is the use of the Prime Minister having the same? Wouldn\u2019t it be the same medicine under a different label and in a different bottle? Fortunately for the nation UPFA opposition saw it through and prevented that from happening; rightly also denied by the judiciary.<\/p>\n

Coming to the 20th<\/sup> Amendment, United Christian Party who promised to see it through on the promise of getting help from UPFA for the 19th<\/sup> Amendment , reneged on their promise and did everything possible to obstruct its passage through the parliament with their junior cadres of the JVP.\u00a0 Both the United Christian Party aka UNP and the JVP the junior red elephant brigade of the UNP stood to loose seats under the 20th<\/sup> Amendment conducted elections. This was clear to see by their conduct in the parliament and outside. \u00a0Their earlier promise to bring about the 20th<\/sup> Amendment was only a ruse to dupe the electorate.\u00a0 The voters of Sri Lanka who wanted an end to the \u2018preferential vote\u2019 system of choosing candidates and wanted to bring about a mixed system of voting that would enable a \u2018clear, known and responsible\u2019 candidate as their choice for the electorate were deceived.<\/p>\n

Finding Good and Honest Candidates across Party Lines <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>The so called Civil Society groups , Catholic Church and some Palli Nikaye\u2019 Buddhist priests led by the Catholic Dr Jaylath Jayawadane acolyte \u2013 Madulawe Sobhitha are calling the voters to elect untainted and uncorrupt parliamentarians. \u00a0This is a ruse to mislead the voting public and get them to vote across party lines to\u00a0 elect so called clean\u201d parliamentarians. The voters must not fall into this NGO, Chrisitian Church and Christian West inspired and dollar funded trap.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Party that stands for the Unity and Territorial Integrity of Sri Lanka<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Our Motherland \u2013 Sri Lanka is in great danger. They must first select the political party that stands for the Unity and Territorial Integrity of Sri Lanka. A divided country means non-ending warfare fighting for resources.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Voter\u2019s Priority<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is a must to \u00a0vote for the candidates put forward by that party whether clean or not as the first level priority. \u00a0As a secondary consideration they can select the best they can find among the list chosen by the party. Here too they must go for Rajapakse loyalists first and not the dubious ones of doubtful loyalty to ensure good teamwork in the days ahead.\u00a0 Sri Lanka can wait for the Clean\u201d candidates and Good\u201d parliamentarians. We must have a country left before we can have Good Governance\u201d It is up to the leader of the party to control the parliamentarians. Mahinda Rajapakse is the only person who fits that bill today!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pure unadulterated Slander and hateful invective<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Most voters are today fed up with the lies and arrogance of the United Christian Party and its Christian Leader \u2013 Ranil Wickramasinghe and his largely Christian party hierarchy. He and his acolytes goes round the country reading from prepared bits of invective still trying their best to slander the undisputable leader of Sri Lanka \u2013 Mahinda Rajapakse.<\/p>\n

Christian Agenda for Sri Lanka<\/strong><\/p>\n

Christian Ranil Wickramasinghe is not even a close up alternative for Sri Lanka as a leader for this majority Sinhala Buddhist nation. He and his party has an agenda to end even the little advantage Sinhala Buddhists have in Sri Lanka by converting Sri Lanka to a Christian majority nation like South Korea in the near future. It took only 50 years to make that transition from a majority Buddhist Korea to what it is today through unethical conversion.<\/p>\n

Christian Don Juan Wickramasinghe promising to hold the 7th<\/sup> Universal Buddhist Council!<\/strong><\/p>\n

To top it all this modern day Don Juan Wickramasinghe (Dharmapala) wants to convene a Buddhist Council in 2017! The World Buddhist Establishment has had only six Buddhist Councils since the Parinibbana of Lord Buddha in 6th<\/sup> Century BC.\u00a0 \u00a0\u2013 that is in nearly 2600 years.<\/p>\n

The last \u2013 the 6th<\/sup> Buddhist Council was held in Burma in 1954 under the patronage of the Myanmar Government and the \u00a0great Buddhist leader U Nu the Prime Minister of Burma. These are undertaking made by pious personages and not by dubious politicians with suspect morality and with \u00a0Anti Buddhist agendas. This clearly shows how far Christian Ranil would go to deceive the Buddhist public of Sri Lanka and worldwide!<\/p>\n

Who can we rely on?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Only clear cut votes for UPFA can only come from Sinhala Buddhists. For all purposes and intents it is unreliable to depend on the Christian \/ Catholic and Muslim votes. This they have shown time and again. It was the Separatist Christian, Catholic, Muslim and Tamil votes that brought down the previous Mahinda Rajapakse administration. There may be a few Chrisitans and Muslims who believe in Sri Lanka as a single unitary entity who might vote for UPFA; that is only a \u2018flash\u2019 in the pan!\u00a0\u00a0 Let us not forget \u2013 internal borders means \u2013 eternal blood letting and warfare. This is what the Christian West and the Christian Church want out of Sri Lanka \u2013 another Iraq, another Libya, another Syria!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Voting for the JVP \u2013 where are Mawbima nettam Maranaya soldiers?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Votes for JVP are wasted votes. From the beginning JVP strategy was to sling mud first at UPFA and after the first 100 days at the UNP and promise the \u2018sky \u2018 under a JVP led administration.\u00a0 Voters must not fall for this ruse either. Their blood stained past speak volumes for what they are capable of. They are not yet ready for any sort of power in Sri Lanka. The former Marxist Leninist are now little red elephants hiding under the United Christian Party aka UNP.<\/p>\n

Good Governance, democracy and human rights are only Christian West inspired slogans <\/strong><\/p>\n

Good governance is a secondary call asking for voting across party lines looking for \u2018good, untainted and honest politicians\u2019 as advocated by the Christian \/ Catholic Churches, so called Civil Society Groups, Christian NGOs and Pallin Nikaye\u00a0 and Jihadist Buddhist Priests. This is a clear attempt to hoodwink the unsuspecting voters away from a clear cut UPFA victory.<\/p>\n

Mahinda Rajapakse had the honesty to admit to his mistakes and promise for a better administration in the future. We have not heard similar from Christian Ranil who oversaw the biggest financial fraud in Sri Lanka\u2019s history during his \u2018100day administration which ran to nearly 200 days. He has shown his sheer hatred and unadulterated invective calling to \u00a0\u2018bury Rajapakse \u2018 \u00a0– a very un-Buddhist calling in front of a \u00a0majority Buddhist Sri Lanka! What can Buddhist Sri Lanka expect under a Batalanda Democracy?<\/strong><\/p>\n

All patriots\u00a0 young and old who wish for Sri Lanka to remain as a single unitary entity \u2013 politically and geographically must make it to their respective polling stations early on 17 August 2015 and vote for UPFA and Mahinda Rajapakse.
