President Mahinda Rajapakse declared war against the Tamil Terrorists on the basis of valid evidence.\u00a0 He did not simply declare the war on the basis of recommendations received from front line Commanding Officers of the Army, Navy and Police.\u00a0\u00a0 As the Chief Commanding Officer, President Mahinda Rajapakse made the decision after thorough evaluation and successfully defeated the terrorist outfit of Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n

On the contrary, the so called “Coalition of the Willing” led by the USA declared the war against President Saddam Hussein on the false evidence received that he had developed Weapons of Mass Destruction.\u00a0\u00a0 It has now proven beyond all doubts, that there had been no proof of the existence of WOMD in the possession of Saddam Regime.<\/p>\n

One of the culprits of the “Coalition of the Willing” outfit, former Prime Minister of England Mr Tony Blair had partially apologised on October\u00a0 26th for his decision to declare war stating\u00a0\u00a0 that he had acted on the basis of ” inaccurate intelligence briefings” from the Armed Forces.\u00a0 This was a bizarre revelation despite the fact that an exhaustive investigation conducted by Hans Blix.\u00a0 At the request of the United Nations, Hans Blix came out of retirement to conduct the extensive investigation into WOMD. At the end, in his report he declared that\u00a0 “There were about 700 inspections, and in no case did we find weapons of mass destruction”.\u00a0 In spite of these credible findings,\u00a0 the Coalition actioned War without a mandate from the United Nations and brutally killed President Saddam Hussein, his family and hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians.\u00a0\u00a0 Does an apology from Tony Blair justify these assassinations?<\/p>\n

President Mahinda Rajapakse saved a Nation by eliminating terrorists.\u00a0 He did not defeat LTTE to capture power in North and East.\u00a0 He did not defeat LTTE\u00a0 to exploit oil and other economic resources, if any,\u00a0 in North and East. He did not defeat LTTE to eliminate Tamils from Sri Lanka.\u00a0 Instead he did defeat LTTE\u00a0 to save Tamils in Sri Lanka who were brutally murdered by\u00a0 Prabhakaran’s crew.<\/strong> In fact, after the War, President\u00a0 Mahinda Rajapakse conducted Provincial Elections , even though he knew\u00a0 his own Party will not be able to capture power.\u00a0 But United States and\u00a0 its Allies killed the\u00a0 leader and its people in bright day light and destroyed the economy of Iraq.\u00a0 They have now stationed an American Puppet Regime in Iraq extracting economic benefits, instead of providing grass root level for democracy.\u00a0 Several years after the War, Iraq is now\u00a0 in a much worse position than pre Saddam era.<\/p>\n

All democratic nations must push the United Nations to set up a War Crime Tribunal to serve the natural justice against the politicians with criminal history.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
