Mr Thilak Marapana\u00a0 (TM) vacated the office of his Ministry with dignity.\u00a0 TM was a professional with rare combination of degrees in Chemistry, Maths and Law.\u00a0 He has never been a politician who has gone behind leaders with a begging bowl. He did not become a politician to make money.\u00a0\u00a0 He did not take up politics to be able to send his children overseas for education.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He did not come through gutters, wanting to make a name through politics. Legal expertise is in his DNA, his father was a former District Judge.<\/p>\n

A large number of current members of parliament are uneducated, some even struggled to complete\u00a0 the GCE Ordinary Level examination, but holding key projects such as Ports.\u00a0 There are others with University Degrees in Dentistry, Law and Arts but unable to make sufficient wealth through their professional practices, hence politics had become a gold mine for them<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Vast number of United Peoples Alliance MPs won their seats by pledging support for Mr Mahinda Rajapakse to make him\u00a0 the Prime Minister.\u00a0 Without MR’s\u00a0 help, none of them would have won the seats.\u00a0\u00a0 Immediately after winning their seats, they become FROGS.<\/p>\n

Arjuna Ranatunga and Patali contested from the UNP, even though they\u00a0 dislike the Prime Minister Mr Ranil Wickremasinghe.\u00a0 Anura Kumara is an absent minded leader, his speeches are essentially intended to create headlines, without any essence.<\/p>\n

The politicians\u00a0 such as\u00a0 Maithreepala, Dr Rajitha Senaratne, Nimal Siripala, Champaka, Susil Premajantha, Anura Priyadarsana Yapa\u00a0 etc. consist a group of political scoundrels, they will not leave their portfolios unless dismissed or impeached.\u00a0 These political beggars have damaged the government of President Mahinda Rajapakse for their own personal gains.<\/p>\n

Departure of Mr Marapana should not be taken lightly.<\/strong>\u00a0 The power struggle between Maithreepala and Ranil will intensify.\u00a0\u00a0 UNP, ITAK and JVP could provide oxygen to Mr Ranil Wickremasinghe to form a new majority government on its own and sack SLFP\/JHU scoundrels. On the other hand Maithreepala will begin to change like a Gecko and move towards President Mahinda Rajapakse to seek his support to remain in power.<\/p>\n

As the power struggle continues, the living standards of the Sri Lankans will deteriorate.<\/p>\n

The Westerners,\u00a0 Tamil Leaders and political scoundrels are happy as President Mahinda Rajapakse is not in power at the moment.\u00a0 The Westerners, Tamil Leaders and political scoundrels are much more happier now as Ven Sobhitha Thero will not be a force in future.<\/strong><\/p>\n
