Caused by the Hepatitis-B virus, the disease may show no symptom during the initial infection. Statistics reveal that over 750,000 people die of Hepatitis-B every year across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>According to the World Health Organization (WHO) over 40 million Indians are living with the chronic Hepatitis-B infection. As the infection of Hepatitis-B virus can be prevented by the vaccine, the WHO recommends better detection and prevention facilities across the globe. Lately Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has started campaigning for the massive Hepatitis-B vaccination program.<\/p>\n<p>Guwahati based Dispur Hospitals private limited, had earlier extended medical support to over 150 scribes of Guwahati and around 50 journalists of Dimapur for the Hepatitis-B vaccination camps.
