Ranil Wickramasinghe miserably\u00a0 failed as the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka under President Chandrika Kumaratunga during \u00a02002-2004, \u00a0\u00a0handing over parts of the North to terrorists under a CFA which he had himself not understood.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He showed his characteristic penchant to act if Sri Lanka is his heritage, and that he takes orders from no body. He \u00a0acts without foresight or without the wisdom of a man who is called upon \u00a0to \u00a0lead the government of \u00a0a nation. He not only failed as the Prime Minister \u00a0in 2002-2004, but also \u00a0put Sri Lanka in great danger of being divided forcibly by a group of ruthless terrorists,\u00a0 with a terrorist leader \u00a0far more intelligent and capable than Ranil Wickramasinghe himself .<\/p>\n

With that experience no sensible person elected as the President of Sri Lanka should have made Ranil Wickramasinghe his Prime Minister.<\/p>\n

Today, Sri Lanka is economically and in all other respects in ruins.\u00a0 The principal preoccupation of the Prime Minster Ranil Wickramasinghe, and his cabinet of UNP Ministers is hunting for thieves under the previous government of Mahinda Rajapakse.\u00a0 Even that is a complete failure as they cannot catch real thieves and take in all and sundry with any connection to the previous government of the\u00a0 President Mahinda Rajapakse\u00a0 or his \u00a0family.<\/p>\n

There had never been a government even in the African continent as inefficient and utterly corrupt as the government of the Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe.\u00a0 Under the previous government of Mahinda Rajapakse every week saw a new project declared open or \u00a0declaring open already constructed building , road, hotels, schools and so forth.\u00a0 But under Ranil Wickramasinghe\u2019s government we only hear, practically every day of arrests and accusations against persons for probable acts of corruption.<\/p>\n

One is sick about Yahapalanaya, which is not yahapalanaya at all, \u00a0but ways and means\u00a0 to destroy\u00a0 Sri Lanka that was raised from ruins of thirty years of terrorism to be\u00a0 a vastly developed and a progressively developing country, by \u00a0a visionary leader Mahinda Rajapakse.<\/p>\n

That period of changes taking place in Sri Lanka in its march towards progress and development has been made to be forgotten by the Ranil Wickrmasinghe\u2019s taking Sri Lanka in to the fold of USA and the former Colonialists, as a subordinate satellite state.<\/p>\n

More than one years after 8th<\/sup> January, 2015 since the unfortunate political change took place givng power to a decidedly destructive, undeserved \u00a0UNP leader Ranil Wickramasinghe Sri Lanka languishes in the shade of\u00a0 gloomy storm clouds of\u00a0 coming political , economic and social disaster, \u00a0like a ship without its motor tossed up in waves of uncertainty without\u00a0 a destination\u00a0 in view, to be wrecked and\u00a0 sink deep into the sea..<\/p>\n

UNP with its erratic capitalist and pro Western pseudo-democratic policies is without a capitalist class within\u00a0 to promote Sri Lanka in to\u00a0 any sort of development. \u00a0In the absence of a local capitalist class to promote its political system UNP has to look for the capitalist countries of the West for its\u00a0 political system to exist.<\/p>\n

That is what UNP had been doing from its inception\u00a0 without any success and continue to do today with Ranil Wickramasinghe as the UNP Prime Minister.\u00a0\u00a0 Ranil Wickramasinghe\u00a0 has no political vision for the development of the country and turns to USA, India , Germany and UK for inspiration.\u00a0 The systems are poles apart and Sri Lanka as a result\u00a0 is being strangled into suffocation without an outlet for its potential development.<\/p>\n

Capitalist system has failed every where in the world, with financial crisis after crisis, nevertheless, with the\u00a0 rich getting richer and the poor remaining poor. In the latest Exposition of Motor Vehicle is Geneva five hundred latest models\u00a0 of a car had\u00a0 all been sold at a cost of 2.6 mllion dollars each even before the opening of the show. Yet the west says it is facing a financial crisis<\/p>\n

The rich countries of the West even with their continuous financial crisis\u00a0 can fall back on \u00a0its basic capital earned by robbing the countries they colonised or conquered.<\/p>\n

It is only when there is even a small change from hard core\u00a0 capitalism that countries show progress.\u00a0 Socialism is a natural system of management, where as capitalism is artificial.\u00a0 Even in USA it is Democratic Party which\u00a0 is politically different if not socialist, \u00a0and more progressive than the Republican Party which in recent times took USA to war with Iraq.<\/p>\n

But Sri Lanka is a poor country, which \u00a0\u00a0Ranil Wickramasinghe and his Foreign Minister buddy Mangala Samaraweera are trying to take it by the scruff of its neck to throw it\u00a0 into the den of the monstrous Western capitalist regimes.\u00a0 Sri Lanka will naturally be eaten up by these monsters and Ranil Wickramasinghe \u00a0would not rescue Sri Lanka from being mangled ad devoured by Western capitalism.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately the President Maithripala Sirisena, born an ungrateful man, and proved to be so chose the wrong man to be the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n

Chandrika Kumaratunga had the guts to kick\u00a0 Ranil Wickramasinghe out of power in 2004, but the President Maithripala Sirisena \u00a0weak and\u00a0 dependent on Ranil Wickramasinghe dares not mind playing the second role to the Prime Minister. Maithripala Sirisena suffers the same ignominy Chandrika Kuamratunga suffered under Ranil\u00a0 Wickramasinghe from 2002 to 2004.<\/p>\n

Chandrika has been blinded by hatred and desire for vengeance, she seems to have forgotten the de facto position she was pushed into by Ranil Wickramasinghe\u00a0 who was acting as the President , even going to meet President Bush in the White House.<\/p>\n

Ranil Wickramasinghe does not maintain the dignity of his office \u00a0as a Prime Minister.\u00a0 He behaves like a circus clown\u00a0 in the Parliament calling its members\u00a0 pimps, monkeys, gypsies, donkeys and beggars, laughing at the same time at his jokes moving backwards and forward\u00a0 to see that his UNP cohorts are enjoying his joke. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Ranil Wickramasinghe \u00a0is unable to make a decent speech in parliament. He looses his temper and abuses the members of the parliament.\u00a0 When the\u00a0 President asked\u00a0 Prime Mnister Ranil Wickramasinghe to remove the Governor of the Central Bank after the Bond Scam, he turned a deaf ear and transferred the Central Bank Employees who raised their voices against the bond scam.<\/p>\n

Ranil Wickramasinghe \u00a0speaks of democracy, but he acts as a dictator.\u00a0 When the ETCA agreement with India is being heavily criticised he\u00a0 does not consent to discuss the agreement in parliament nor is he willing to present it for a public debate. He instead says that he will pass it by June, this year. He refused to discuss the ETCA agreement with the Medical Officers Association.<\/p>\n

Ranil Wickramasinghe\u2019s government is facing a serious financial crisis , but his way out of it\u00a0 is not consulting the Parliament to find a solution\u00a0 together, but to immediately blame the former President Mahinda Rajapakse as the cause of the present financial problem, which is certainly not true, as it is his government that lost \u00a02 billion Rupee in the Central Bank Bond Scam. <\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

His continuous existence as the Prime Minister depends on to what extent he can blame the former government for every problem he faces.\u00a0 He\u00a0 refuses to understand that his problem arises from his hatred towards the former President Mahinda Rajapakse, his\u00a0 continuous efforts to take revenge from him and his family.<\/p>\n

These negative thoughts make him blind to finding correct solutions to the\u00a0 problems which are of his own making. If he can clear his mind of the debris of hatred he may be able to see thing better,\u00a0 and even consult the Previous President Mahinda Rajapakse to find a solution to present day problems.<\/p>\n

He should not have antagonised China to please USA and India.\u00a0 China is the only country which can help developing countries as they give unconditional loans along with technical aid.\u00a0 USA or any other country of the West hasn\u2019t got the\u00a0 money to help developing countries, but instead they will get its multimillionaires, and companies to invest in acquiring\u00a0 large extents of land to set up fruit farms and build their industrial plants to\u00a0 control\u00a0 developing countries economically, and politically.<\/p>\n

Ranil Wickramasinghe takes decisions \u00a0without foresight to solve immediate problems, but does not consider future damage his \u00a0decision may cause to Sri Lanka. Ranil Wickramasinghe\u00a0 expecting Saudi Arabian financial aid to overcome the present financial debacle of Sri Lanka allows Saudi Arabia\u00a0 to set up Shariah Banks.<\/p>\n

The activities of Ranil Wickramasinghe\u2019s government are not transparent.\u00a0 He does not allow public debate of his proposals that seriously affect the country.\u00a0 According to statements made by some Indian Ministers\u00a0 the Indian Government has already allocated funds and the construction work for \u00a0a bridge between India and Sri Lanka has \u00a0already begun at\u00a0 Indian end, but Ranil Wickramasinghe \u00a0ignores concerns of the people of Sri Lanka with regard to the building of the bridge to connect South India and North of Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n

It is because of the mistakes of Ranil Wickramasinghe\u2019s UNP policies that Sri Lanka is facing problems which cannot be settled without selling Sri Lanka to the West.\u00a0 The country had neither financial problems nor serious political problems under Mahinda Rajapakse.\u00a0 But as the USA with its experts on regime change carefully studied\u00a0 solution to\u00a0 change Mahinda Rajapakse Government, every body fears to deny the falsity of accusations that led to regime change.<\/p>\n

The solution they found was to accuse\u00a0 Mahinda Rajapakse his Government\u00a0 his family and all connected to Mahinda Rajapakse as thieves who had made money from all development projects, took bribes, earned commissions and stole gold,\u00a0 killed journalists, and started a white van culture of kidnapping and killing opponents.<\/p>\n

What has happened as a result is that every one is ready to accept that\u00a0 argument without any\u00a0 proof of the accusations. In a recent TV Debate a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank when he was asked, why the former Government of President Mahinda Rajapakse had managed to develop the country \u00a0without\u00a0 encountering any financial problems for five years after the elimination of\u00a0 terrorism, said that the figures quoted by the previous government were in correct.\u00a0 He was obviously someone who was discontent that he could not replace the Governor of the Central Bank Mr. Cabral.<\/p>\n

But reality , though the hard core UNP sympathisers and those who are prejudiced against Mahinda Rajapakse and his family for some reason or other , is that Mahind Rajapakse and his family had not been benefitting from the development of Sri Lanka.\u00a0 There was no reason for him or his family to resort to misappropriation or stealing of funds as, as the President he was entitled to\u00a0 a salary, allowances and other necessities that come along with his position \u00a0for him to and his family to live in comfort and in respect.<\/p>\n

Mahinda Rajapakse would have never resorted to any mean ways of earning as he knew that once he is out of office\u00a0 his enemies will not leave any stone unturned to find material\u00a0 to tarnish\u00a0 his image.\u00a0 That is what is happening now and his enemies have not found any thing\u00a0 but nevertheless tarnishing\u00a0 his image by finding fault with him for everything they have been unable to do, they continue to paint him as\u00a0 dark as they can do.<\/p>\n

But with all accusation the fact remains that Mahinda Rajapakse\u00a0 is the only political leader of ourt time who developed Sri Lanka after eliminating a ruthless terrorism. As it is with Maithripala Sirisena and Ranil Wickramasinghe at the helm\u00a0 one can be assured that \u00a0nobody after Mahinda Rajapakse \u00a0will raise Sri Lanka to what it was\u00a0 before 8th<\/sup> January, 2015.<\/p>\n

Ranil Wickramasinghe was so intent on\u00a0 eliminating Rajapakses from politics that he even created his own FCID to investigate people he wanted.\u00a0 He was all out to please the West to the extent that,\u00a0 as he did in the case of signing the CFA with Terrorist Prabhakaran, Ranil to sponser the USA Resolution against Sri Lanka presented at Geneva UN Human Rights Counciil, without consulting the Parliament. He is high handed arrogant and unable to think of the possible consequences of his acts.<\/p>\n

Ranil Wickramasinghe keeps every one under his control, even the Speaker of the House Karu Jayasuria cannot take an independent decision in the House.\u00a0 The Speaker\u00a0 does not call to order the Prime Minister when he does not use parliamentary language when referring to the Members of the Parliament.<\/p>\n

Ranil Wickramasinghe\u2019s appointment of Sampanthan as the leader of the Opposition was irregular, and far from\u00a0 yahapalanaya government\u2019s assertion of respect to democracy.\u00a0 The Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe does not respect the culture\u00a0 of Sri Lanka and its historical past. His allowing the National Anthem to be sung in two language is unconstitutional and disrespectful to Sri Lanka with\u00a0 its Sinhala Buddhist sentiments infused into it.<\/p>\n

Ranil Wickramasinghe is not suitable to be the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka because his short term decision are\u00a0 a long term \u00a0danger to the Sovereignty of Sri Lanka. \u00a0Ranil Wickramasinghe is not a patriot like Mahinda Rajapakse. Ranil Wickramsinghe wants to rebuild Sri Lanka on the model of Sigapore, Malaysia and South Africa.<\/p>\n

Mahinda Rajapakse wanted \u00a0develop and build Sri Lanka as Sri Lanka with its unique Sinhala Buddhist back ground.\u00a0 He further wanted to maintain the unitary state of Sri Lanka and bring together the communities without giving into political pressure by\u00a0 the Tamils and the Muslims.<\/p>\n

That was the reason \u00a0why Mahinda Rajapakse lost the Presidential election. Mahinda Rajapakse was\u00a0 a Sinhala Buddhist patriot. The teachings of the Buddha emanated from the Temple Trees the then residence of the President of Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n

Under Ranil Wickramasinghe\u2019s government the Buddhist monks\u00a0 are arrested and detained in jail.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
