They claim to wish to live in peaceful coexistence but then their institutes are attempting to insidiously enter all the sacred sites of Buddhist Sri Lanka and build their prayers of worship. The moment that happens that structure will become their religious right and take precedence over the religious structures that had had been in existence for centuries. Politicians are mum because it has become an easy endeavour to shut them up by giving them some luxuries to satisfy their lustful weaknesses. But it behoves the Muslim public to take a greater moral stand in this matter by coming forward to say that the mosques already in existence are enough and that it is wrong to incur on traditional Buddhist sites. Are these attempts to build Muslim structures in sacred Buddhist heartlands to create racial tensions and then cry foul when Buddhists react? This has been a ploy used in the recent past.

Most in Sri Lanka are of the view that the Islamic terrorism that prevails globally with all Muslims generally being projected as ‘terrorists’ by the Western media & certain politics is wrong mainly because it is the West that has created these jihadists to advance their own agendas via the Muslim nations that function as West’s satellite states/agents.

These West-friendly Muslim nations supply the manpower and indoctrination while the arms training and brainwashing is provided by the US/UK & NATO – thus Al Qaeda, ISIS and all other Islamic groups that the West proudly ban and claim to go after using R2P are all essentially created by the West. It was using these groups and unleashing them to do their terror that Kosovo was created, Yugoslavia was cut into pieces, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan and now Syria are being occupied. There is a plan to all these military occupations.

While simultaneously going after the jihadists the West plays a double game by demanding religious freedoms which is another insidious plan for them to roll out their Christian missionaries via NGOs and other Rights Groups. Riding on this it is sad that in non-Muslim majority countries that Muslims who claim to wish to live in peaceful coexistence use these Western ‘rights’ jargon to create their mono-Islamic enclaves and thereafter demand their rights as we can see the East also demanding a separate Muslim-only enclave in such a small island nation like Sri Lanka. So when taking these demands, the events happening before our eyes, the new dress codes which are only self-segregating Muslims from others we can only wonder what is the real plan and where do we draw the line.

While we know that the west is going after Muslims, what we cannot understand is why Muslims are attempting to insidiously creep into sacred Buddhist areas and therafter claim these areas as their traditional rights. How morally defensible is this?

The example of Saudi Arabia is important for it is the citadel of Islam and where Mecca is located.

Excerpts from the US State Department Report on Saudi Arabia – http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/171744.pdf. In higher education the government discriminated against Shia in the selection process for students, professors, and administrators at public universities.

Journalists and activists who wrote critically about the religious leadership or who questioned theological dogma risked detention, travel bans, and government shutdowns of their publications

On March 19, 2010, four CPVPV officers and one uniformed police officer raided an Indian Christian prayer service being held in a private residence. It was JR Jayawardena who permitted Maldivians to live, work and study in Sri Lanka when Maldives claimed its islands were going to be submerged. Inspite of all the kindness shown to Maldivians in Sri Lanka there is no reciprocity for Sinhala Buddhists

The population of Maldives is 393,595.
