Ranil is acting as an agent of other countries in Sri Lanka even though he is the Prime Minister in Sri Lanka. I think he realized a long time ago that in order to come to power he needed some backing. So he went to the most powerful countries and offered his services to procure Sri Lanka on their behalf and in return he wanted to become the Prime Minister and then the President. In return he was given training at the MIT (USA)\u00a0for three weeks on how to topple elected governments, and also a script prepared by these countries on steps that need to be taken,\u00a0one by one, I believe. RW discredited the incumbent Pres MR \u00a0\u00a0by using the social media to make out that MR\u00a0was corrupt and has to be removed. MR\u00a0knew Ranil\u00a0cannot run as the\u00a0Presidential candidate since Ranil\u00a0was so unpopular having lost elections 29 times. Even the UNP party tried to get rid of him as the leader. He was absolutely unscrupulous and changed the constitution of the party so that no one could legally remove him. So what he did was to find a disaffected SLFP member who was malleable and willing to betray MR. They found their ideal candidate in My3. RW\u00a0had help in this from his former political\u00a0‘enemy’ CBK. So they discredited MR with a barrage of media\u00a0lies and ran the Presidential election. In spite of the lies, MR lost only by a small margin and that too\u00a0because the Tamils were told by TNA not to vote for MR and also\u00a0the Muslims by their leaders. So MR lost both the Tamil and Muslim vote. This is in spite of MR\u00a0spending almost 90% of the development funds on the North and East and saving over 300,000 Tamil civilians held as hostages by the LTTE.\u00a0 There was also massive cheating in the North, East and the Central part of Sri Lanka as was pointed out by Dilrook Kanangara and Ajit Randeniya in two separate articles. “CHEATING AT THE ELECTION” dated Aug 14, 2015.\u00a0https:\/\/www.lankaweb.com\/news\/items\/2015\/08\/14\/cheating-at-the-election\/<\/a><\/p>\n

As soon as My3 became President he immediately appointed RW as Prime Minister when there was an already existing Prime Minister and Parliament, which was against the Constitution<\/strong>. My3 said it was because the west wanted RW as Exec PM.\u00a0 RW got rid of the Parliament and appointed his own UNP cabinet. When asked by the people as to why he did it, My3 said “the west wants me to do that”. RW in turn appointed Paskaralingam, a well known Govt servant who had amassed an immense amount of wealth under a previous President and had gone abroad, as head of the Treasury, and also\u00a0a Singaporean citizen, Arjun Mahendran,\u00a0as the Governor of the Central Bank. The new\u00a0Governor in turn issued CB bond to the value of X at an interest rate of Y and at the time of auction made the value of bonds 2X and the interest rate 2Y for his nephew Arjun Aloysius’s company Perpetual Treasuries owned by\u00a0Free Lanka\u00a0Capital Holdings.<\/p>\n

Since then as has been pointed out by Prof. G. L. Pieris that\u00a0the CB Governor has been doing more Bond sales and have borrowed a record amount of money in the 1 1\/2 years they have been power. No one can account for monies which have been borrowed since no work has been done unlike during the MR regime where a lot of developmental work was carried out. I feel this money is being channelled to Tamil diaspora who will use it to by 5000 acre plots in the tea estates on 99 year leases and also in the Trincomalee area. Part of the money may have been channeled to the UNP coffers since they were broke.\u00a0 Everything is running smoothly as per the script given by the Think\u00a0Tanks of the powerful countries who are using RW, My3 and CBK as stooges. D.E.W. Gunasekera was head of COPE and produced a report on the matter\u00a0to the Parliament. On the day before it was going to be presented to the Parliament \u00a0along with a No Confidence motion on RW, My3 at the request of RW, dissolved the Parliament and called for elections.<\/p>\n

In the General Election My3 the traitor allowed President Mahinda Rajapaksa to run as Head of UPFA for the Parliamentary elections.\u00a0 My3\u00a0then got information that UPFA was going to get 113 seats and to foil MR, two days before elections he announced that he will not appoint MR as Prime Minister even if UPFA wins, In addition removed the Secretaries of UPFA and the SLFP who had been gazetted, and appointed his own henchmen. These actions confused our people so much that UPFA got only 95 seats. All these actions were unconstitutional. <\/strong>My3 formed a so called “National Govt between SLFP and UNP” which was illegal since the SLFP did not run as a party\u00a0at the General Election.<\/strong> They ran as a part of UPFA.     During the war with LTTE Ranil W destroyed one of the most elite intelligence groups of the Sri Lanka army. Whether he was ignorant or whether he acted deliberately is not sure. However he was responsible for the killing of 44 top army officers and set back the destruction of LTTE.<\/p>\n

      Even the killing of Gamini Dissanayake has been attributed to Ranil W by none other than Maithripala Sirisena, the current President.<\/p>\n

      The killing of Major Janaka Perera was by LTTE suicide bomber. But Ranil W was so spineless that he never spelt it out that Janaka had been killed by LTTE. It is also very odd that Ranil W never went for this meeting.       I feel the strategy RW is following is one that will suit the powerful countries. It is to bring the country to it’s knees\u00a0by crashing it completely economically while pumping out all the money to their friends. Unless RW can explain what he is doing with all the money that has been borrowed in the last 1.5 years,\u00a0 I think we are going to face the same scenario as Greece very soon. Once the country has crashed it will easy for the Govt to give Federal States, sign the ETCA, build a bridge to India etc., which are all part of the grand plan that RW has been planning all these years. Even though the ordinary people do not want all these things,\u00a0that is what the powerful countries may\u00a0want Sri Lanka to do.<\/p>\n

      The next step will be the new Constitution which will herald in all that the Tamils have wanted and what they could not get by the terrorism\u00a0in the country against the Sri Lanka Govt. This will result in the North and East being merged and the Trincomalee harbor being given to one of the Countries which sponsored the Yahapalanaya.<\/p>\n

      The parliament has been given a\u00a0subsidised canteen which provides a lot of food causing our parliamentarians to gorge themselves and go to sleep in the afternoons !! \u00a0 Most of them are not very educated or aware\u00a0to understand what is going on and in any case do not seem to care too much so long as they get their duty free cars and other benefits. They behave like monkeys and use foul language when shouting at each other. We therefore cannot expect the Parliament to stand up to the trio who were planted as the leaders by these powerful countries. Even the Mahanayakas have been silenced with various gifts or threats.\u00a0 The priests or politicos\u00a0who do not toe the line are punished with all types of spurious charges.<\/p>\n

      When President Mahinds Rajapaksa vacated as President his last words which I remember were “I am handing over this country to the people”. Therefore it is up to the people to learn and understand what is going on and take steps to protect it from people like RW who have sold the country to other powerful countries in return for his protection.<\/p>\n

      It is therefore important for the people to understand the nature of the people in the Yahapalanaya. Here is a brief history about CBK a key player. The one eyed bandit queen is bad luck for all right thinking people of Sri Lanka. She as a patron of the SLFP should NOT be batting for a UNP candidate. It is an act of treachery. She must immediately resign from the SLFP party or be removed. She is as bad as MY3 who left the party, ran for President then after he won became leader of SLFP but is batting for Ranil W and the UNP. What a pair!<\/p>\n

      CBK’S destroyed the Sinhalese, some of it\u00a0quite inadvertently. First her father SWRD brought in Sinhala Language Act (1956) to make Sinhalese the Official language overnight. It was not a bad thing o the surface of things. But what it did was it gave Tamils and even Muslims\u00a0freedom to choose the language of education while the Sinhalese HAD TO\u00a0\u00a0study all subjects in the\u00a0Sinhala language.\u00a0 This would have been somewhat acceptable if there had been a great deal of preparation and entire libraries of translation done in many subjects into Sinhala language\u00a0and new research made possible using the Sinhala language.\u00a0 But that was not so.\u00a0 It was Sinhala overnight, almost.\u00a0 People had no time to adapt to the new situation, both Sinhala people and others.<\/p>\n

      As a result our people, the Sinhalese,\u00a0got handicapped. What made matters worse was that SWRD\u00a0then made Tamil a National language. Our children should have got a good grounding in Sinhala language with a strong knowledge of English also, so that they had access to the world of knowledge,\u00a0commerce and\u00a0business.<\/p>\n

      When SWRD\u00a0was assassinated by Somarama, his wife became Prime Minister and she made matters worse. With all the Marxist academics as her advisors such as NM Perera she brought the\u00a0Land Reform Act (1972 \u00a0)\u00a0which decimated the Sinhala land owners. Traditionally Sinhalese were not traders. They were mainly farmers and landowners. There was a good relationship between the villagers and the land owners with land owners looking after the villagers and vice versa. Many of the Sinhala landowners lost all they had and some of them committed suicide. It takes a long time to develop plantation\u00a0estates and many of them had inherited the estates from their ancestors and had put in a lot of effort and money to develop them. The emotional attachments to their land and connections to the villagers were removed overnight.\u00a0 Overnight it was all taken away. The landowners no longer could support the villagers.<\/p>\n

      CBK has suffered a great deal in politics in Sri Lanka.\u00a0 She lost her husband and her father in political assassinations and nearly lost her life to a LTTE suicide bomber, and damaged an eye.\u00a0 She should leave politics.<\/p>\n

      Net result of poor politics in Sri Lanka\u00a0was that the village youth felt unsupported and decided to revolt. The JVP launched a military type attack to take over power by force. Mrs. SWRD Bandaranaiyake should have at this point invited them for a discussions to look into their grievances. Instead she ordered the Military to kill JVP. The military and police were merciless. More than 30,000 Sinhala youth are estimated to have been killed. Many were completely innocent youth who were just rounded up by Military and asked to dig pits and then shot so that they fell into the pits which were covered up.<\/p>\n

      When the UNP came into power with Premadasa as President,\u00a0he did the same thing – no talks were held.\u00a0 Ranil W was put in charge of the youth. He did not help the youth but set up Batalanda where either with his knowledge or without his knowledge JVP people were tortured and killed. \u00a0 Over\u00a050,000 Sinhala Youth died during the late 1980s insurrections.<\/p>\n

      Next, when when SLFP came into power and CBK became President with Ranil W as Prime Minister, they bungled the entire military operations against the LTTE. She appointed her uncle as Minister for Defence and her nephew Rohan Daluwatte as the Military commander. This man had no military experience and would run off to see Sai Baba whenever there was trouble. She kept the war with the\u00a0LTTE dragging on and thousands of our Sinhala soldiers were brutally killed by the\u00a0LTTE. She had a preset idea that it was not possible to beat the LTTE and\u00a0along with Ranil W. Ranil W kept trying to hand over the North and East to appease Prabahakaran. RW\u00a0even stopped a crucial military operation in 2001 where the army knew the exact location of Prabahakaran and were ready to take him out.       CBK\u00a0recently in January engineered part of\u00a0the downfall of the hero of the nation,\u00a0 President Mahinda Rajapakse,\u00a0 by using the Think Tanks of the West and telling the people lies which have subsequently been proven to be baseless.<\/p>\n

      We must ensure that the LAND is protected and not allow the Yahapalanaya to cut it up into pieces to appease their masters. Make the Tea Estates which are owned by the GoSL and managed by agency houses into Public Companies so that the people can buy shares in the company and allow even foreigners to invest to a limited degree in these companies.<\/p>\n

      We should lease out the Trincomalee harbor to USA since that is what they have been trying to get by getting rid of MR and installing the Yahapalanaya. We should charge them some lease\u00a0money for it to enrich the country. If MR had done it may be he would be still there. Of course,\u00a0it would have antagonized China !<\/p>\n

      We must create a Govt Corporation to start drilling for oil and gas in Mannar. This would enable us to pay off a lot of the debt very quickly.<\/p>\n

      We must take steps to protect Buddhism and the Sinhala people from the other religions and ethnic groups\u00a0in Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
