This assertion was made when at several public gatherings in her recollection of her reign when the LTTE activists had a heyday at Colombo and suburbs, including even an attempt on her life. The last of this utterance was at the opening the Ranpokunugama, Nittambuwa Public Library among protests from some of the voters at Attanagalla.<\/p>\n

This repeated assertion of hers of winning three fourth of the war by her leads to several connotations in the right thinking minds of the citizens of this country. Among many, the foremost will be who had won the other one fourth of the war. To her thinking it would have been the LTTE leader Prabhakaran to whom she offered the Northern and the Eastern Provinces to be ruled over a period of ten years on a platter, which is virtually one fourth of the land mass of Sri Lanka, which offer Prabhakaran had rejected as her reign had all the trappings of the war being tilted toward the victory of Prabhakaran’s LTTE army.<\/p>\n

Another connotation is that the thirty year LTTE war was won by Field Marshall Sarath Fonseka. This view strongly held by the Sirisena-Wickremesinghe regime cannot hold good, as that three fourth of winning of the war was achieved by the then army commander and not by CBK as she proudly asserts, after dragging the war for over ten years right throughout her reign; where not a cent got collected to government coffers from the war torn areas and the tax payers money collected from the other provinces were used to even feed the LTTE cadres.<\/p>\n

The other connotation one may get is the role being played by CBK as the voluntary leader of the current reconciliation process, as if the majority ethnic group living in this country had inflicted a heinous crime of waging a war against a minority ethnic group, innocently trying to establish their own hegemony over a land area of this small Island with the backing of the Tamil Nadu State of South India, along with the Gandhi Dynasty which got thrown out from Indian politics,<\/p>\n

The Sirisena -Wickremesinghe regime should not remain complacent that Field Marshall Sarath Fonseka had ended the war and they could well administer this country peacefully forever, as they identify themselves by a hybrid term as “Sammuthivadi Anduwa”, a type of which is not existing anywhere in any part of the world where a party system of government under a democratic process persists.<\/p>\n

Further, CBK should be doubly careful not to fall prey to the designing of western powers, backed by the powerful Tamil Diaspora, in their attempt to establish an Eelam state in this small Island, in her all out attempt on reconciliation with the Tamil ethnic group; forgetting their inimical behavior towards the other communities living in this country, recorded in the past and present historical documents and chronicles.<\/p>\n
