I will be very open to name and praise one minister of the Yahaplalana government and the rest should be named and shamed .<\/p>\n

Hon Susil Premjayantha told me today during the morning walk that around 200 tons can be sent to Dompe where a state of the art garbage treatment facility is in operation where 25 tons are treated daily and the balance kept on holds to drain the leachate ,pump out treat it properly before discharging to ground.Another part should be sent to Karadiyna where collection center is already functioning where there are no un authorised houses right around .<\/p>\n

Fairway Inc is in in the process of starting treatment facility soon in Kardiyana<\/p>\n

Balance should be sent to Muthurajawela onto 1-20 acre land out of 200 acre already available for filling ( EIA completed and SLLRDC owns the crown land)\u00a0 and part filled with garbage and sand mixed with earth ,<\/p>\n

This is what I also suggested in many articles and now government has opened eyes<\/p>\n

He also reckon that the whole operation should be carried out by the forces with a dynamic civil person overseeing the work .SLLRDC ,UDA CMC ,WPC etc should keep away and let the operation carried out by the team nominated and authorised by the President .<\/p>\n

I suggested to transport at least half of the dry garbage from Meethotamulle to alleviate risk of more land slides before the pending SW monsoon at the door step.<\/p>\n

I also suggested to import few bailing and wrapping machinery costing about\u00a0 150 million rupees and stack the garbage in sane area in Muthurawela for power generation later<\/p>\n

Hopefully this issue will be solved unless Walking high (tall ) minister and Walker low (short ) CM objects !<\/p>\n

SLLRDC should keep their hands off in managing except ledn equipment and engineers to the execution team<\/p>\n
