K1J 6G1 \u00a0Canada<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>April 26, 2017<\/p>\n<p>The Editor (Letters)<br \/>\nTHE OTTAWA CITIZEN<\/p>\n<p>Dear Editor:<\/p>\n<p>Your news item bylined Stewart Bell &#8211; <strong>Trudeau in photo with former VP of terror group &#8211; Banned WTM affiliated with Tamil Tigers<\/strong> &#8211; says one thing about the Liberals, they are either inherently naive or that they have not given up supporting Tamil Tiger terrorism in Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n<p>It were he Liberals of the Chretien-Martin leaderships that let the Tamil Tiger sympathizers collect two million dollars a month for 13 long years to stuff the Tamil Tiger war chest to buy sophisticated war weapons to support the Tamil \u00a0Tiger separatist war in Sri Lanka.\u00a0 And it were Paul Martin and Maria Minna, the two Cabinet Ministers of the Liberal Government together with 9 other back benchers who patronized a Tamil Tiger $60-a plate fund raising dinner \u00a0in Toronto on May 6, 2000.<\/p>\n<p>The bottom line of all this is that Canada&#8217;s Liberal; Governments aided and abetted the Tamil separatist Eelam war in Sri Lanka that dragged on for 30 long years which killed over 100,000 people.<\/p>\n<p>It is time that the Liberals stop this deceit and keep their fingers out of the internal affairs of \u00a0Sri Lanka.\u00a0 We have no business to be a terrorism supporting nation when we are supposed to be \u00a0fighting to keep terrorism away from our Canadian shores.<\/p>\n<p>Asoka Weerasinghe<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Asoka Weerasinghe Kings Grove Crescent .
