Upon questioning the people present there, CID was able to question a lady who is also a partner of Producer Sunil T. Fernando has given statement that the copies of Parliament Jokes\u201d DVD\u2019s were made on the order of Dy. Minister Ranjan Ramanayake and Sunil T. Fernando.<\/p>\n

Total value of the illegal produce is estimated to Rs. Ten Millions! \u00a0(10,000,000.00)<\/strong><\/p>\n

The stock of contraband and the lady was taken to the questioning and statement was taken while taking illegally made DVD copies of the Parliament Jokes Movie to the CID custody. \u00a0Around 20,000 copies are in custody now and the trial of the case has been scheduled to 04th<\/sup> August at Fort Magistrate Court. The statement of the lady who was released on Police bail has clearly given the statement as The making of DVD\u2019s were done on the order of Ranjan Ramanayake\u201d according to Police sources.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The culprit Ranjan Ramanayake is hiding behind the screen with the use of his ministerial powers but both him and Sunil T. Fernando had been begging the legal owner Lal Kaluarachchi not to reveal the information to media!<\/p>\n
