There are thousands of Sinhalese obediently serving their Tamil masters in their places of employment. Can this type of thing happen if there is racism? Wouldn’t the company’s consumers reject the company and their products and services?

 By this same logic why is no one asking why Tamils can buy property in South and live and why extremist Tamil politicians should say Sinhalese cannot do the same in the North, when the constitution affords right of residence anywhere and right of movement. It was the Sinhalese that were subject to ethnic cleansing in the north by the LTTE Tamil terrorists. All this while the Tamils live and benefit from Sinhala consumers all over the country.

Is it time for the dominant super rich Tamils to speak up against the extremist Tamil politicians who are trying to create problems again?

Super Rich minorities in Sri Lanka that dominate the business sector in Sri Lanka

This is just a small list of how industry and business is dominated by minorities in Sri Lanka Will Tamil business families relocate to the north if Vigneswaran gets his federal constitution?

C V Vigneswaran (born 23 October 1939) in spite of alleged Sinhala discrimination has done quite well in life. There was no obstacle to gain dmission to arguably the best school in Colombo, Royal College. In spite of supposed ‘persecution’ he gained admission to the University of Ceylon, he entered Law College and qualified as a proctor & advocate. It is surprising how with alleged Sinhala ‘oppression’ he became a lawyer, a magistrate, a judge of the District court, High Court, Court of Appeal and even a Supreme Court judge. With all the supposed discrimination and oppression he lived in Colombo more than 70 years of his life and only in 2013 proceeded to the North where he has now emerged Chief Minister of the Northern Province and only now he has remembered the supposed ‘plight’ of the Tamils during the past 4 years. He has forbidden Tamils to marry Sinhalese but his own two sons are married to Sinhalese (one to MP Vasudeva’s daughter the other to Kesaralal Gunasekera’s niece). The Chief Minister also says Sinhalese are forbidden from entering the North causing any to wonder if his sons leave their wives when coming to visit the father in the North.

Chief Minister Vigneswaran in an interview to an Indian newspaper says TNA wishes for ‘self-rule’ citing the Tamils are the majority in the North. He has in no uncertain terms made clear what the TNA objectives are. No constitution making can take place in the light of these developments. A new constitution is not meant only for Tamils. Reconciliation cannot create a constitution aiming to divide the island and separate an area exclusively to a minority based on lies especially when the question of why were Sinhalese & Muslims evicted from the North has never been investigated or explained and no efforts have been made to return these people to their original homes in the North though these people have personally made submissions to the UNHRC OISL.

England does not have a written constitution but Chief Minister Vigneswaran wants a new one. Look at a map of India, Canada, USA and a picture of Sri Lanka for anyone to realize that these countries are federal because they are very large. Not applicable for Sri Lanka which a tiny island nation,
smaller than Scotland. Besides the majority of Tamils do not even live in the North or the East, the majority of Tamils live in Colombo or other parts of Sri Lanka

How many are aware that high caste Tamils does not donate blood because they do not wish their blood to be mixed with low caste Tamils?

How many knew that it was the Sri Lanka Armed Forces that were keeping the blood bank in the North supplied with blood donated by Sinhalese soldiers? The Chief Minister of the Northern Province can say no Sinhalese can live in the North but he does not mind when Sinhalese soldiers donate blood for Tamils. These very soldiers who do not have proper homes of their own, build houses for displaced Tamils. The media, human rights activists, and others never highlight this side of the story?

On alleged war crimes

Funny thing is, the then Army Commander is promoted and holding a ministerial post If they are genuine about investigating war crimes then army commander at that time should not be holding any office. Both the then army commander and the prime minister have claimed that the army commander should get most of the credit for finishing the war against terrorism. Then any allegations also must be faced and no office held until he is cleared

Sri Lanka’s conflict was NOT Civil but TERRORISM

Have you heard about the civil war in America where the whites are killing Muslims after 9/11, or that there is an ethnic conflict in France and the whites are killing Muslims with bombs going off killing civilians in Paris?

Terrorism is terrorism, regardless of the country.

Some treasonous anti-Sri Lankan media persons still try to portray the LTTE terrorism as a civil war or an ethnic conflict.

LTTE terrorist supporters suggest that Sri Lanka suffered a civil conflict. However common enemy was the LTTE terrorists. The victims were Sinhalese, Muslims, Tamils and even foreigners. It is only those that indirectly/directly benefited from LTTE terrorists that wish to portray a wrong version.

Wherever and whenever unarmed civilians are subject to serial crimes that cover suicide attacks, planned bomb attacks on civilians and civilian installations, assassinations, heinous methods of murder – these are acts of terror and by terrorists. LTTE terrorists became notorious on account of
these terror acts and the victims were not a specific group but people, (Sinhalese/Muslims/Foreigners and even many Tamils) this denies them and their supporters to claim they stood for the rights of Tamils and fought on behalf of Tamils. It is on account of LTTE’s terrorist ways that it remains
proscribed as a ‘terrorist organization’ by 32 nations including Sri Lanka.

India is our friend?

LTTE terrorism was created when unemployed Sri Lankan Tamil youth were taken clandestinely to India and trained by retired Indian military and Indian intelligence with complicity of the Indian Government. They came out into the open following 1983 riots (during UNP Government) causing to now wonder whether the riots were pre-planned and the work of neighbour’s intelligence apparatus giving to them a ready-made slogan ‘Eelam’ and ‘Tamil grievances’ both of which find their roots in India and possibly the modus operandi was to pass the headache to Sri Lanka to realize two
objectives – delay calls for self-determination in Tamil Nadu and destabilizing Sri Lanka and stall its development.

We still wait for India to be investigated or in the least made to answer for its role in creating the LTTE terrorists. But do the Sri Lankan’s reject products made in India?

Similarly, virtually all of the other ‘wars’ conflicts or any other names given find their roots to nations that manufacture and sell arms, syndicates that are into selling illegal arms as well as entities involved in cross-activities that cover illegal narcotics, arms smuggling, human smuggling etc. A thorough search may find that these entities are in fact connected. So too are the sub-entities (NGO’s, media/human rights/think tanks/charities/UN & entities) all of whom find their ownership/shareholders/funding to the same sets of people who control the money flow that
generates the apparatus to start wars and uses breathing space via peace talks/negotiations/ceasefires where in walks in their other partners to advance further agendas related to politically weakening targeted states so that ‘their nominees’ are placed in an larger plan that is all about profit for a handful of people and to satisfy their sadism in seeing both sides of a conflict suffer – emotionally, physically, economically and in whatever other way that is planned.

In Sri Lanka, the conflict is neither Civil nor Ethnic for several reasons

 LTTE terrorists and other armed militants were made in India

 The segments of Tamils that supported LTTE terrorists was not because they agreed to LTTE’s murderous ways but saw it as an opportunity to rule over their own (high castes ruling the low castes) while for others (mostly middle class) the so called ‘discrimination’ served as a blank cheque to win refugee status and thereafter permanent residency in western countries ultimately only the low caste/impoverished remained to be guinea pigs for both LTTE terrorists and the upper caste/class Tamils.

 The conflict was not ethnic because LTTE’s first murders were Tamils (Tamil Mayor Duraiappa & thereafter Tamil policemen) the other Tamil victims included teachers, public servants, principals, academics, Tamil politicians, clergy and even the one and only Tamil Foreign Minister Mr. Lakshman Kadiragamar. In addition, LTTE leadership did not hesitate to even kill their own cadres (child soldiers who ran away, combatants who wanted to leave, injured cadres and enemy cadres) We can safely presume that LTTE terrorists killed more Tamils than the world is accusing Sri Lanka of killing and these numbers can be established with names unlike the ghost figures been thrown at Sri Lanka.

 The conflict is not civil because – the majority of Tamils live among Sinhalese which can be statistically proven. At no time have the Sinhalese ordinary masses fought with the Tamils and one occasion that is being quoted has been politically motivated and politically arranged
in 1983 during UNP government. (1983 riots as an example still awaits acknowledgement from Tamils that Sinhalese looked after them and kept them in their homes for safety)

 The ‘discrimination’ tag has to also be nullified because no one has been able to establish any lists of grievances that show Sinhalese enjoying what Tamils are constitutionally, legally and legislatively denied. However the Sinhalese are not able to buy land, purchase property,
work or reside in Northern Sri Lanka and Sinhalese who had been living even before 1948 have been chased out and the Sinhalese who wish to return are treated in such a way to make them uncomfortable to stay, while the LTTE terrorists proxy TNA going so far as to say
Sinhalese are not welcome in the North.

 When in Germany one has to learn German, when in France one needs to learn French, what is wrong with learning a bit of Sinhala, if living in Sri Lanka.

Unfortunately it is extremist Tamils holding foreign passports and some extremist Tamil politicians
living among the Sinhalese with no intention of ever going to reside in the North who are pushing for
an Eelam based separate state and a new constitution to create trouble. When considering that
England does not have a written constitution at all, what is required is equality in justice for all citizens
of the country, anywhere in the country.

ජාතිවාදයට විරුද්ද වෙමු

If minorities are discriminated in Sri Lanka who can explain the following: Can you think of any country with a sizeable population where industry and property are dominated by the minority communities?  Colombo the commercial hub of Sri Lanka, its population is dominated by Tamils and Muslims leaving Sinhalese in the minority  The […]

[6,5,7

post-70870","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-politics","category-security","category-terrorism
["GET
