A news item on\u00a0March 7,2018 states\u00a0that the U.S. embassy has urged the Sri Lankan government to take immediate action against those responsible for the violence. Does this confirm that the U.S. is controlling Sri Lanka’s internal administration? When violence is the order of the day in the U.S., why does Sri Lanka accept statements such as this from other countries as to what it should or should not do? Has this government handed over Sri Lanka for the U.S. \u00a0and U.K.to administer as they see fit regardless of what the people of Sri Lanka want? Is Sri Lanka an independent country or has it once again become a colony, this time of the U.S and U.K?<\/p>\n

If the current Sri Lankan government has not abdicated it’s responsibility to govern the country and has to be “instructed” by\u00a0the U.S., U.K. or any other country in the west, let it confirm that it has not done so by telling the U.S. and U.K.\u00a0to stop this interference and concentrate on acting quickly to protect human rights, basic freedoms and peaceful coexistence in the U.S. because the daily news reports from the U.S. clearly indicate that,\u00a0minorities are oppressed, racial, ethnic and religious violence are on the rise. \u00a0It should be made clear to the U.S. ambassador that he is not a viceroy assisted by the British ambassador. Having engineered and funded\u00a0regime change it appears that they believe that they can dictate policy for their benefit to the detriment\u00a0\u00a0of Sri Lankans.<\/p>\n
