The TUI charter flight operator arranges majority of travel groups from Sweden to Sri Lanka. Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Sweden Sudantha Ganegama Arachchi was at the Lule\u00e5 airport to greet the passengers and crew members. He was accompanied by the Mayor of Lule\u00e5 to the tarmac to see off the TUI charter flight.<\/p>\n<p>The County Governor, Bj\u00f6rn O. Nilsson hosted a dinner reception for the Ambassador. During the conversation, the Governor shared his interest to develop collaboration relating to advanced research between the institutions in the region and relevant Sri Lankan agencies. While appreciating the Governor\u2019s interest, Ambassador Ganegama Arachchi agreed to explore the possibilities of such collaborations for mutual benefit.<\/p>\n<p>At a breakfast meeting held on 04 March, Ambassador Ganegama Arachchi presented the investment opportunities in Sri Lanka to the members of the Norrbotten Chamber of Commerce. The Ambassador highlighted how Swedish companies could play an important role in the ongoing development projects in the country.
