On the 26th<\/sup>\nOctober,2018 President Sirisena sacked  his Prime Monster Ranil Wickramasinghe and\nappointed Mahinda Rajapakse as his Prime Minister. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What was his motive ?\nWas it because he had no other solution  or was it because  he regretted what he did   in November 2014 by leaving the SLFP to become\nthe Common Presidential Candidate of the Opposition ?  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If he did that to\nrectify that error knowing that Mahinda Rajapakse is a real patriot and a\ndependable leader to run the government of the \ncountry which is being mismanaged and \nbeing gradually divided and destroyed by an ambition egocentric power\ncrazy  agent of the West-Ranil\nWickramasinghe as the Prime Minister. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then the President\nSirisena  was sincere and he had really  regretted the mismanagement of the country and\nits finance by Ranil Wickramasinghe and his UNP click since the change took\nplace on the 9th<\/sup> January,2015. \nIt also means that the President  did\nnot pardon Ranil W-the PM, for once again carrying out a second Bond Scam in\n2016, despite the exposure of his Yahapalanaya as a fraudulent set up to\nswindle the finances of the Country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course the\njudiciary which is an arm of Ranil Wickramasinghe and the UNP  awaiting the applause of the West, did what\nthe President did not expect and helped Ranil Wickramasinghe and the UNP to\ncontinue with  their  changing of the aspects of ancient Sinhala\nBuddhist  Sri Lanka  as a measure of reconciliation to give the\nTamil politicians what they want, and get the approval of the West.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, this\nunexpected change of heart of the President Sirisena had a  negative effect on the  opposition, specially the newly formed\npolitical party the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna. SLPP which  had gone beyond  every one\u2019s expectation  to become the most popular political party\nwhich sealed the end of the popularity of the SLFP, and became a challenge to\nUNP.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But since the most\nundemocratic and unconstitutional decision of the Judiciary, which prohibited\nthe President from dissolving the Parliament before four and a half years,\nRanil Wickramasinghe and the UNP has settled into continue its destruction of\nthe ancient Sri Lanka to replace it with a modern Sri Lanka with Tamils getting\nmore power over the Sinhala majority, and the West is able to do what ever they\nwant with the country as they have become the decisive force of the future of\nSri Lanka under UNP.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UNP has again\nbecome a party sponsoring a resolution now being proposed  by UK\nagainst Sri Lanka.\nIt has now been approved at the UN Human Rights Council lead by Mme\nMichelle  Bachelet who knows next to\nnothing about Sri Lanka, except what she had read along with  the fiction \nDarusman War Report, and updated by Samantha Powers, Navi Pillai and Zeid\nAl-Hussain, The President has not been able stop it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

President Sirisen\u2019s\npowers are being restricted and Ranil , Karu Jayasuriya and UNP have made of\nhim an isolated President without power in the Cabinet and the Parliament controlled\nby Ranil Wickramasinghe, his friend Karu Jayasuriya the Speaker , Lakshman\nKiriella UNP Leader of the House, Mangala Samaraweera Minister of Finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President\nMaithripala Sirisena  has even become\npowerless in the SLFP with the appointment of  Dayasiri Jayasekara, and allowing , Duminda\nDissanayake and Mahinda Amaraweera  to\nmake statements without the President Sirisena\u2019s consent  against the SLPP and the left by further  isolating the President Maithripala Sirisena.  If the President is sincere about a change\nand wants to be with Mahinda Rajapakse, why does  not he say so and counter the statements\nbeing made by  the Secretaries of the\nSLFP and UPFA ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UNP tries to\nbenefit from every thing putting the blame even on patriotic acts of the\nPresident and the Joint opposition. The change of government on the 26th<\/sup>\nOctober 2018 what ever the seven judges of the Supreme Court said was\ndemocratic and Constitutional. The Supreme Court misinterpreted the\nConstitution. With that ,  the UNP tries\nto profit from it saying that it was the result of a conspiracy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That 51 days of the\nshort government of Mahinda Rajapakse showed how the country could be ruled\npositively looking after the welfare of the people. But for UNP  it was the period that reversed the progress of the country. But Ranil and UNP are\nonly  trying  to fool the people  who knows there had been  no progress what so ever under the\nYahapalanaya government and that it was the very reason why the President Sirisena\nchanged heart to appoint the man he betrayed as the Prime Minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UNP cannot fool the\npeople all the time , nor can the JVP with all their big talks with a 20th<\/sup>\nAmendment fool the people once again. They will not even get six seats the next\ntime . Ratana Hamuduruva is equally a traitor like Champika Ranavaka. They\ncannot change the thinking of the people any more.That is for sure. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the President\nMithripala Sirisena is a mystery . What does he really want ?  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was a tremendous\ndemand for a Government by the SLPP before the President\u2019s  change of heart in October,2018. But\nthereafter  this trend has  weakened to a certain extent .  And contradictory statements are being made\nby Dayasiri Jayasekara, Mahinda Wimalaweera, and Duminda Dissanayake. But the\nPrersident Maithripala Sirisena has not made any statement with regard to these\ncontroversial statements  of the SLFP ,\nand UPFA Secretaries.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the intention of\nthe President Maithripala Sirisena in the interest of Sri Lanka is to get rid\nof Ranil and UNP the dangerous cancker that is eating into the flesh and the\nsystem of Sri Lanka, he should then be prepared to sacrifice his own personal\nambitions of another period of Presidency, and support a presidential candidate\nfrom the opposition supported by the SLPP and SLFP and the rest of their allied\nparties.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He should make his\nintention clear and inform the SLFP and UPFA to fall in line with SLPP without\nmaking unnecessary demands. The defeat of UNP under any Presidential Candidate\nshould be the primary objective of the SLFP, SLPP and the rest.  It will be difficult if the opposition is\ndivided between two Presidential Candidates. \nTherefore it is time that the President Maithripala Sirisena issues a statement\nof his intention without further delay..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

President\nMaithripala Sirisena has won the respect of the people since he sacked  Ranil Wickramasinghe as his Prime Minister.\nThe Present Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe is a valueless skeleton. If the\nPresident Maithripala Sirisena makes \nclear his intention to step down for the sake of the one Common\nCandidate of the SLPP and SLFP and others, he will retire as a loved and a\nrespected President of Sri\n Lanka for life.  But if he were to contest and  get defeated he will not be able to retire so\nrespectfully and loved by the people.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ranil and UNP are\nprepared to sacrifice any historical and cultural values of the people to\nreconcile with the Tamil Politicians. \nAnd the President seems  to be\ngiving in by distributing lands and appointing a Tamil Governor etc. to the\nNorth.  But the TNA has not ceased to\naccuse Sri Lanka\nin one way or another demanding their rights with the intention of forming a\nTamil only Province combining North and East. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TNA  is a child conceived and prepared for the\nrole of protecting the terrorists and be their spoke persons by  the terrorist leader Prabhakaran. They have\nno right to make excessive demands from the Government and above all prepare\nthe Constitution  for Sri Lanka. They\nreally have no large following of ordinary Tamil people. Those who  vote to who ever they ask do so through fear\nof the TNA and its members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of  President Mahinda Rajapake\u2019s errors committed\nduring his regime was not disbanding the TNA and take  action to imprison the members of the TNA as\nmost of the other terrorists taken into custody after the defeat of terrorism. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sumanthiram now says\nthat if the government does not set up a Hybrid Court as demanded by the US\nResolution 30\/1, he would take the Sri Lanka armed forces before the International Court.  The President should not allowed Smanthiran\nto  make those statements , and warn of\nthe consequenses he might have to face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the time\nthat President Maithripala Sirisena should pounce upon them  by appointing a Presidential Commission to\ninquire into the activities of the members of the TNA during terrorism and\nafter the elimination of terrorism.  It\nhas become imperative as the TNA which is very much responsible for the\nmassacres committed by the terrorists and even the assassination of Tamil and\nSinhala Political leaders and late Mr. Lakshman Kadirgamar.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They now have a  magnificient time as king makers\u201d and the\nwriters of a new Constitution to Sri Lanka. Enough of that. Lets\nface it, the time has come for the President to stand up and appoint a\nCommission  to inquire into the\nactivities of TNA during and after terrorism. That will silent them and the\nordinary Tamil people knowing that the dogs have been tied\u201d, will vote for\nparties other than that of TNA, Wignesvaran \netc, They may prefer voting to candidates from SLPP or SLFP.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
