I just read the news item in Colombo Gazette<\/em> of 25 March 2019, which\nsaid,, AIADMK seeks probe into Human\nrights violations\u201d <\/em><\/strong> during the Tamil Eelam war i<\/strong>n Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first\nblush, my reaction was, No, can\u2019t be.  Surely these are not the same Tamil Nadu\npoliticians who in the early 1980s, with the help of Indira Gandhi, took over\nbare-foot Tamils from the North of Sri Lanka, who couldn\u2019t shoot straight to\nfight the Sri Lankan armed forces, to give them military training to go to war,\nto claim their  mythical separate\nmono-ethnic, racist, Tamil State, Eelam, carved out of 33% of the real estate\nand bordered by 66% of the coastline in the North and East of the island.  Military warfare,  was training them how to shoot AK47s and\nthrow hand-grenades like leather cricket balls at targets and not fighting with\ncatapults and stones as in a High School backyard.  It was sophisticated military training to\nviolate the \u2018Right-to-life\u2019 of innocent Sinhalese peoples in border villages of\ntheir de facto, Eelam,  by killing them\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then I\nrealized that these were the aging, friends or siblings of the same Godfathers of Tamil Tiger  terrorists <\/strong>who trained them to\nviolate  the most paramount Human Right,\nthe right-to-life,<\/strong> by killing\ninnocent fisher- and farming Sinhalese folk, \nin the process of ethnic cleansing, They happen to be my people.  I am a Sinhalese-Buddhist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s\npretty rich on you Tamil Nadu politicians calling for a probe on Human Rights\nviolations in Sri Lanka, having disguised yourselves painting your faces lily-white\nlike scary Halloween ghouls, and sitting on high-horses pretending to be\nangelic Paragons-of Virtue.  That is a\nstomach-somersaulting Ha! Ha!! joke, Chief Minister.  You got that one wrong!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That was\npretty rich and you Tamil Nadu politicians got the gall and temerity requesting\nUNHRC to probe alleged Human Rights violations\u201d  by the armed forces in Sri Lanka, when you\nguys were the Godfathers of those Tamil Tiger Human Rights violators of unarmed\ninnocent people in the scores of. hundreds. \nDon\u2019t you guys understand this collusion?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I notice\nthat these Tamil Tiger terrorist human rights violations during the Eelam War\nare no great concern to you Tamil Nadu politicians nor to the UNHRC.  Little wonder why the US quit UNHRC saying\nthat it is a cesspool of political bias\u201d,<\/em><\/strong> and leaving the stink to foolish\n\u2018bully\u2019 countries and politicians like you to inhale and cope with. You all\njust cannot wriggle out of that horrible fact, \nThat was nasty, Chief Minister, and you know it.  You all should be ashamed of yourselves and\nhang down your heads like Tom Dooley every day, when walking into your\nlegislatures.  Look at your palms and you\nwill find a film of red Sinhalese blood in every one of  your palms. \nThat is the blood of my innocent Sinhalese people and my anger is\nvisceral. And after almost 40 years my eyes are \nstill cartwheeling with anger spitting dragon breath at you, Tamil Nadu\nGodfathers of Tamil Tiger terrorists, who killed thousands of my innocent\nSinhalese people for almost 30 blooding years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come on\nChief Minister, give me a break, cut out that Tamil Nadu political  blarney, and get off your high-horse, come\ndown to earth, and take a reality check and don\u2019t be so disingenuous as you\nwill be a good<\/p>\n\n\n\n

candidate\nfor the role of Mirror, mirror, on the Wall, who is the liar of them all,\u201d <\/em><\/strong>when\na fist would punch through the mirror pointing its index finger at you saying, It\nis You, Sir.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chief\nMinister, I won\u2019t be surprised if you tell me that We are not only\nParagons-of-virtue\u2019 we are also Babes in the woods, and we are innocent of\nyour charge that we were involved in training the Tamil Tigers <\/em><\/strong>to\nviolate the Human Right of the right-to-life<\/em><\/strong> of the Sinhalese\npeople when the Tamil Tiger terrorists massacred thousands of innocent\nSinhalese people, by shooting, claymore mining them and chopping them with\nmachetes as if they were animal carcasses \nhanging in a Chennai  Street\nbutcher\u2019s stall.   Haro..Hara!<\/em>  And you from the South of all of Tamils in\nIndia requesting the UNHRC to probe the human rights violations in Sri Lanka\nduring the last gasping five-months of the 30-year Eelam War is a call of\nbull-headed insanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let me nudge\nyour memory, Chief Minister, and tell you that you all in the early 1980s\ntrained the Sri Lankan- Tamil militants from the Eelam People’s  Revolutionary Front (EPRLF); Tamil Eelam\nLiberation Organization (TELO);  Peoples\nLiberation Organisation of Tamil Eelam (PLOTE); Eelam Revolutionary\nOrganisation (EROS), and Tamil Eelam Liberation Army (TELA). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once they\ngraduated from their military training they were sent back to Sri Lanka\u2019s North\nin Tiger-striped khaki fatigues and jack boots, cradling Kalashnikovs like\nbabies in their arms, and festoons of live bullets around their necks.  They were now fully fledged cyanide\ncapsuled  Tamil Tiger Terrorists,\nassassins and massacers, ready not only to take on the Sri Lankan Armed Forces,\nbut also the Indian Armed Forces who trained them.  And that was embarrassing for Prime Minister\nRajiv Gandhi and his RAW advisors. Ha! What a miscalculated adventure when your\nIndian Peace Keeping Force of 100,000 \nsoldiers were forced to get back home to India, taking with them 120 of\ntheir brother-soldiers in body-bags, \nThat bully-boy-adventure cost your India \nUS$3 million a day, a huge country characterized by the gaunt drawn out\nfaces of the starving, when you all could have used that money to feed your\nstarving.  Shish! What a bunch of\nblithering fools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are\nsome locations of camps in Tamil Nadu where the Tamil Tigers were trained by\nIndian retired army soldiers: Parangamali,<\/em>\nand a place about 40 km from the Chennai airport;  Salem;  Kollimalai Kanjipuram<\/em>;  Kollimalai\nKakavel<\/em>; Anna Nagar<\/em>; Sengalpattu Presawakkam<\/em>;  <\/strong>Valachchari<\/em> and Theniukramama,<\/em> and so forth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weapons\ntraining by your Tamil Nadu Indians to kill and violate the Sinhalese innocent\nvictims right-to-life<\/em><\/strong>were\nAK47s; pistols and revolvers; SLRs; LMGs; Rocket launchers: 2\u201d Mortars and\nother modern sophisticated weapons. \nDefinitely not stones, catapults, and Indian Police crowd controlling\nbamboo-sticks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So Chief\nMinister, it is pretty rich for you Tamil Nadu politicians to paint yourselves\nlily-white and pretend that you are  Holier than the Sri Lankan Armed Forces<\/em><\/strong>\nwhose job training was to safeguard the island\u2019s sovereignty, its territorial\nintegrity and her much loved peoples. \nAnd that included the Tamil communities.   And as you know, the Sri Lankan Armed Forces\ndid a pretty good job annihilating Indira Gandhi\u2019s proteges, Sri Lanka\u2019s Tamil\nTigers. on 19 May, 2009. The last Tamil Tiger was shot dead on the sandy beach\nof the Nandikadal lagoon on the east coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AIADMK seeks\nprobing by UNHRC  Human rights\nviolations in Sri Lanka during the last 5-months of a 30 year long war, which I\nread in the news item was a crock full of chilli-smarting masala wadai. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let me be\nfrank and tell you bluntly, that you have sold your soul for geo-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

political\nreasons, \u2018bully\u2019 western country pressures at the UNHCR in Geneva,and your domestic\nTamil votes at home, and turned your back on your puny neighbour, Sri Lanka, to\nhelp crucify her.  And I  have difficulty to swallow Sri Lanka\u2019s brand\nof foolishness when her governments keep trying to convince me by repeating\nthat Manthra, India is a good friend of ours, and she has been so for donkey’s\nyears.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\nunconvincing tosh I never believed for the simple reasons that a good friend\nwould never park a warship in the International waters outside Colombo\u2019s\nharbour as a psychological threat, while this \n\u2018bully-boy\u2019 good neighbour on June 4, 1987 violated Sri Lanka\u2019s\nairspace  by flying over 5 Russian\nAntonov 32s Indian Air Force Transport planes escorted by 4 screaming Mirage\n2000 fighter jets, to drop 25 tons of red lentils, rice, milk powder and\nmedicines onto the Jaffna peninsula to feed 800,000 Tamils who India said were\ndeliberately been starved by the Sri Lankan Government.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You know\nwhat, Chief Minister, that was mischievous, that was India flexing her\ngingerly-oil massaged muscles, and that was sordid. That \u2018parippu drop\u2019 <\/strong>of 25 tons, was cruel and I strongly believe that\nRajiv Gandhi got some sadistic gratification knowing that the majority of the\n800,000 Tamils in the North and East of Sri Lanka, were pushing and shoving\neach other, fighting and clawing the sun dried earth to collect some grains of\nrice and lentils to boil and eat, as according to him, they were being starved\ndeliberately by the Sri Lanka government. \nWas Rajiv Gandhi nuts or what, Chief Minister.  That was cruel!  What drivel! \nWhat poppycock!   What kind of a\nbleeding heart did he have?   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have\ndifficulty to accept this huge good neighbour of Sri Lanka\u2019s Manmohan Singh\u2019s\nIndian Government providing nails to the UNHRC \nto nail Sri Lanka onto a wall by refusing to commit Sri Lanka, their\nfriendly neighbourliness, and support against the US-sponsored UN resolution\naccusing its military of committing war crimes in the final assault on the\nTamil Tigers in 2009. Do I really\nconsider India a good friend of Sri Lanka. \nNa…I suspect this neighbour of Sri Lanka as a cunning  hegemonistic fox.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 <\/strong>And my final comment on what you said printed in that news\nitem: …The party will urge the Union Government, United Nations and\nInternational Communities to order a credible international probe into the\nhuman rights violations, war crimes and genocide committed by the Sinhalese by\nthe then Sri Lankan Government\u2026\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\nGenocide\u201d <\/em><\/strong>may I ask? \nMan…O…man, Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami, you are on a\nslippery slope on that one, and don\u2019t you \nwalk on thin ice, as you might slip and hurt yourself, or drown in a\nlake of confounding stupidity by breaking through the layer of thin ice,  which was only meant for stupids and no good\nliars to skate on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s my\nproblem with your accusatory word Genocide\u201d<\/em><\/strong>  Tell me how you would reconcile the fact that\nby the end of the Eelam war on 19 May 2009, the Sri Lankan Sinhalese\u201d soldiers\nrescued 295,873 Tamil<\/p>\n\n\n\n

refugees\nfrom the clutches of the Tamil Tiger serial killers who used them as a human shield<\/strong> for 30 long months,\nmarching them like unwashed cattle from the west coast to the east coast under\na scorching Jaffna-Kilinochchi sun, \nThe  soldiers could have popped\nthem with bullets at close range, as how on June 11,1990, Indira Gandhi\u2019s Tamil\nTigers did to 700 surrendered  Sinhalese\nunarmed  and blindfolded,  policemen with their hands tied at their\nbacks, popping bullets into their heads, at close range in the jungles in the\neast.  Well, the good news is that the\nSinhalese soldiers were not that brutal and didn\u2019t.  They all had compassionate hearts well\nguarded in cages of ribs.  And you call\nthis Sinhalese act of compassion, respecting the lives of 295,873 of their\nTamil brothers and sisters, Genocide <\/strong>\nHow come?  You make me croak with\ndisgust! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having saved\nthe 295,873 Tamil refugees they were housed in temporary camps and sustained\nthem  with hearty breakfasts, lunches and\ndinners every day which they gobbled down in haste to fill their hunger, having\nbeen starved during the Tamil Tiger Human Shield days of 30 months.  That means, the majority Sinhalese people\ncooked a million meals a day.  That act\nof humanity deserves a Nobel Peace Prize and not a penalty sought by you from\nthe UNHRC.  That was a bummer.  What the Sri Lankan soldiers did was an\namazing act of loving kindness, to a separatist Tamil community who killed and\nmaimed for life members of their Sinhalese community for 30 bloodying years. It\nis time that you Tamil Nadu politicians stop ignoring this amazing event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the\nfinal days of the Eelam War, the soldiers, all of them from the Sinhalese\ncommunity, carried  frail Tamil\ngrandmothers and grandfathers in their arms like babies and ran to safety,\ndodging Tamil Tiger bullets.  These acts\nwere recorded on film and one Tamil grandmother kissing the young Sinhalese\nsoldier on his cheek and blessed him for his act of valour saying\nPuthata Buddhu Sarani\u201d <\/em><\/strong>(Son, you will be blessed by Buddha\u2019s Triple\ngem.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Pete\u2019s\nsake don\u2019t you come out with a \u2018hole-in-the-head\u2019 comment telling me that these\nacts were acts of Genocide.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And here is\na litmus test for you to be fair on your loving Mother who brought you up to be\nan honest man and not to project yourself as a community and an International\nHumbug.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is my\nriddle and it is not a tricky one  \nAccording to war statistics, the ratio of casualties, those killed to\nthose injured are 1:2.  For you to\nrequest a probe into Human Rights violations \nduring the last five months of the Eelam War from UNHRC, it is obvious\nthat you have accepted the 40,000 number killed as mentioned in the roguish\nDarusman Report  If that is so, there\nshould have been roughly  80,000 fatally\ninjured casualties during the last five months of the Eelam War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lets try\nyour smarts\u2019<\/strong> and your common sense<\/strong> and find out from Ban Ki\nMoon, who used to moon Sri Lanka often, and his anti-Sri Lankan panel of three\nMusketeers Darusman-Ratner-Sooka, and his UNHCR High Commissioner Navi Pillay\nwho endorsed the Darusman Report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

as to what\nhappened to these 80,000 casualties, who may have been bleeding and scared, may\nhave been wounded heavily,  lost an eye,\nmay have been hobbling on one foot having lost the other.    Were they taken care at makeshift\nhospitals, or at hospitals in Kilinochchi, Jaffna, Vavuniya or in other cottage\nhospitals with, may be  a maximum of 50 beds\nthe most.  Or were they left to die by\nthe roadsides by foreign bleeding-heart foreign human rights organization\npersonnel rushing by in air-conditioned SUVs kicking dust at the wounded\nsoldiers faces.  That will expose the\nbleeding-heart Humbugs among the foreign NGOs. \nEighty thousand (80,000) fatalities are a colossal number for a puny\ndeveloping country to be taken care of immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you do\nnot get honest, convincing, acceptable answers, your conscience has every right\nto conclude that the cut and paste Darusman\nReport is a Report of Humbugs<\/strong> and dismiss it.  Throw it into the wastepaper basket in your\noffice or make a bonfire out of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For your\nMother\u2019s sake, make that lady, where ever she is, extremely happy, by showing\nyour honesty which she had inculcated in you when growing up. Don\u2019t turn your\nback on your neighbour  Sri Lanka, as her Government is convinced\nthat India is their honest and good neighbour, and apologize to the Sri Lankan Government and her peoples  for your faux pas and tell the High\nCommissioner of the UNHRC that you are withdrawing your request to probe into\nHuman Rights violations\u201d during the Tamil Eelam War in Sri Lanka, Genocide\u201d\nin particular.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go ahead and\ndo it Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.  I\nwill be the first person to tip my hat to you, Being a teetotaller, I will\ntoast you with a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

fine hot cup\nof the best Ceylon Orange Pekoe Tea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
