The\nparliament was told that at least 35 Muslims from Sri Lanka had travelled to\nSyria to join the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist group. Peaceful Syrian Shia\ngovernment reported recently that at least 36 to 50 ISIS terrorists from Sri\nLanka were in Syria. Unfortunately, not all of them died in war. These should\nhave opened the eyes of the incompetent government to the impending doom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This\nhappened on the exact day of the massacre of Karbala by Wahhabis led by\nAbdul-Aziz Bin Muhammad in 1802. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Islamic\nterrorism in Sri Lanka was foretold by the BBS leader Venerable Galabodaaththe\nGnanasara Thero. However, instead of taking heed, the government arrested him\nand condemned to prison. Most Sri Lankans including yours truly were skeptical.\nSadly, it costed the lives of over 290 persons, mostly Christians; initiated\nthe destruction of Sri Lanka\u2019s economy due to the collapse of the tourism\nindustry at a desperate time when the nation needs foreign currency to repay\nloans and attracted worldwide attention. At least 44 foreigners were killed.\nEven if Sri Lanka fails to take action, their host nations will take action\nagainst Islamic terrorists in Sri Lanka. Some terrorist suspects were Indian\nand Pakistani. However, they have found willing accomplices in Sri Lanka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Islamic\nterrorism in Sri Lanka born a few years ago silently attained adulthood with a\nloud bang on April 21, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until and unless Islamic terrorists in the\nisland are exterminated mercilessly, no one is safe. It must be done resolutely\nand quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An\nIndian intelligence agency had warned Sri Lanka police of an impending Islamic\nterrorist attack on Easter Sunday. The police head publicized it on April 11.\nHowever, no action was taken possibly to save the twisted reconciliation model\nSri Lanka follows that has weakened the island nation\u2019s security. If the BBS\nleader was not silenced, he could have taken up the matter on April 11 itself\nforcing authorities to act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sri\nLankan government plays word games with the dastardly Islamic terrorist act by\nnot calling it as such. However, world media have reported it already. People\nmust know the nature of this creature. That is to their own safety and for\npublic-military co-operation which is essential to defeat terrorism. The\ngovernment is stuck for words and action.
