The actions &amp; reactions of the government\nis leaving citizens seriously anxious. The frightful prospect of a government\nneglecting the national sovereignty &amp; security of its citizens is now\nbeginning to sink in. Also linked is a clearly visible foreign intrusion which\nthe government is rolling red carpets for even before arrival making many to\nwonder whether 21 April was part of a plot &amp; plan for their entry. It is\ntherefore important to look at the geopolitical aspect of what happened on\nEaster Sunday &amp; ask who really planned the attacks, who executed it, why\n&amp; who now benefits by the attacks and what Sri Lanka can do to set things\nrights. Whatever foreign involvement it is without a doubt the fault of the Sri\nLankan Govt who not only had intel warnings but had appeals and requests for\naction against Islamic extremists by the Sri Lankan Muslim community itself.\nAll of which had been ignored or not taken seriously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Was\nthis team of killers really planning for Easter or was it pre-advanced for some\nsudden change of plan? Are these men on their own or do they have external\nhandlers, if so who are they? Did they get training to carry out their killings\nif so where &amp; by whom? Why did educated &amp; well to do men who had\neverything in life wish to take lives of innocent people \u2013 how strong is this\nbrainwashing making it all the more dangerous as to how illiterate\u2019s can be\ndrawn to do the same in future. Are there political and others assisting with\nor without knowledge of ultimate plan to kill? If so, are they being investigated\nand arrested &amp; more importantly charged? Can Sri Lankan authorities go all\nout to nullify the menace without keeping it as a beggars wound for political\nsurvival? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why Easter?<\/strong> Is it aligned with the historical Christian-Islam\nrivalry that has a record of millions of deaths by both religions covering\nCrusades, Inquisition, Colonial invasions etc? It also enabled immediate\ninternational attention. Attacks on churches naturally got quicker &amp;\npowerful international response than attacking Buddhist temples or Hindu kovils.\nWhile these killers are no real friends of Muslims too (though they are\nMuslims) it has kickstarted an international hate campaign against Muslims\nwhich will be aligned to another campaign against the hate-campaigners probably\nby the same parties handling the two camps. There are hidden hands to all these\ncampaigns!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why churches &amp; why kill praying\npeople? <\/strong>14 May 1985 LTTE attacked\nSacred Sri Maha Bodhiya in Anuradhapura killing 146 Buddhist worshippers\nincluding Buddhist monks while meditating. 2 June 1987, 33 student Buddhist\nmonks were slaughtered one after the other in Aranthalawa. 3 August 1990 LTTE\nattacked Kattankudy mosque killing 147 Muslims praying. It is no secret that\nthe Catholic church sided with LTTE. Reasons for LTTE attacking Muslims &amp;\nSinhalese was to ethnically cleanse them from North &amp; parts of East. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why hotels?<\/strong> Some 35 foreigners died \u2013 many of these were regular\nvisitors and had funded construction of even hospitals as their love for Sri\nLanka was so great. Some have lost their children too. Targeting foreigners\n&amp; hotels was purposely to hit at our economy &amp; tourism and drive out\ntourists but why (like Bali bombing), what do Islamic terrorists gain from this\nor is it their handlers who benefit by negating a booming industry? Tourists\nfrom India &amp; China are the highest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What\nwe should know by now<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>LINKS:<\/strong> All of the Islamic terrorist groups have some link,\nfunding, training &amp; support to foreign intelligence agencies, their\ngovernments &amp; their satellite states. While the UN has no common definition\nfor a terrorist\/organization, countries have their own lists of banned\nterrorist groups. These powerful links contract these groups to carry out\npolitical assassinations, election campaigning, election intimidation etc. Just\nas terrorists are linked \u2013 intel agencies are also linked often carrying out\nobjectives without even the knowledge of their governments. LTTE-Islamic\nterrorist connections also emerging.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>TERRORISTS \/\nNARCOTICS &amp; UNDERWORLD:<\/strong> Terrorist\ngroups are linked to some form of international illegal racket from which they\ngenerate phenomenal illegal income. Illegal drug smuggling, human smuggling,\nunderworld mafia who thrive on extortion, other illegal businesses, generate\nmoney used to bribe or buy over anyone from politicians, businessmen to individuals.\nThe recent arrests of drug kingpins, raids &amp; confiscation of drugs are all\ninter-connected. The entities may function independent of each other but their\ngodfathers monitor their movements! Increase patrols by Navy in areas where\nillegal entry is possible and strengthen checking in port\/airport by customs on\nrogue businessmen with a record of undeclaring goods or undervaluing what they\nbring. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>EXTREMISTS:<\/strong> Divide &amp; Rule worked superbly during colonial\nrule &amp; the same template continues. Filter people into groups (ethnicity,\nreligion, caste, political party, colour of skin etc) divide each group into\nextreme\/moderates, create others group to react to these extremes. Fund all\ngroups covertly &amp; pit them against each other from time to time deploying\nvarious tactics that are made to trigger people\u2019s nerves &amp; set into motion\na gradual hate\/anger psychosis. Keep negative sentiment at a controllable level\n&amp; use when time is right. The manner a handful of Muslims from covering\ntheir head with their saree in the 1960s suddenly began wearing a black silk\ngarment covering body from head to toe increased while simultaneously building\nopposition to it. Similar new cultures introduced &amp; demanded as religious\nrights were factors that built animosities. Muslims must now remove these as\ncompromise to return to living cordially with all communities.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>HYPOCRISY:<\/strong> Countries create terrorists, transport them to\ncountries where their policy goals need their deployment, get them to spread\nterror, present global scenario that countries cannot handle \u2018Islamic\nterrorists\u2019 using media they control they justify their troop presence.\nIronically, the very Islamic terrorists that they create end up being used and\nkilled while these terrorists also end up killing the troops the countries\ndeploy to kill the terrorists. Mary\u2019s lambs are these Islamic terrorists sure\nto follow Mary wherever Mary goes \u2013 they become sacrificial lambs too! what a\ncomplicated scenario! So have Mary\u2019s lamb chosen Sri Lanka? Is this the reason\nfor the spate of bombings and is Christian &amp; touristS targeted to justify\ninternational presence &amp; interference. Coincidentally, wherever the Islamic\nterrorists are US-UK-NATO will enter and often for a long haul stay. Quite\nfrightening scenario for Sri Lanka in view of the surprising wave of Islamic\nterror too true to even believe! <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So\nwhat we have to understand is that no terrorist organization can function\nwithout the tacit approval and blessings of some powerful nation(s). Terrorists\nare fighting with more sophisticated weaponry than some governments can afford\n(we saw this with LTTE). Terrorists do not manufacture arms, they buy their\narms from countries that manufacture them so countries that manufacture arms\n&amp; ammunition sell to both countries fighting the terrorists &amp; to the\nterrorists fighting the countries. The countries that send troops to kill the\nterrorists also end up dying from the very guns their governments have sold to\nthe terrorists they created. You think the UN does not know this? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>War on Terror\u201d is just a sham<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9\/11\nlaunched the global war on terror with 51 powerful nations invading &amp;\noccupying a country that had nothing to do with 9\/11. <strong>Osama &amp; Al Qaeda was ousted in 2001 &amp; replaced by US-NATO.<\/strong> It\u2019s\nnow 18 years and no signs of US-NATO leaving Afghanistan. Afghanistan is the source of more than 90% of world&#8217;s\nopium supply and opium is grown in areas under US-NATO control &amp; not\nTaliban control! Heroin industry makes $1.5 trillion annually. Michael\nChossudovsky says for US State Dept, CIA &amp; Pentagon this is a multibillion\ndollar trade &amp; comes third to oil &amp; arms trade all of which US now\ncontrols. Countries even pay Taliban not to attack them while Taliban collects\ntax for selling opium. Heroin is transported with diplomatic immunity on\ndiplomatic flights! A joint report by\nPentagon, US Geological Survey&nbsp;(USGS) and USAID says Afghanistan possesses\npreviously unknown\u201d and untapped mineral reserves, estimated authoritatively\nto be of the order of <strong>one trillion\ndollars<\/strong> (New York Times, ISIS earns over US$1 million from oil smuggling. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2010\/06\/14\/world\/asia\/14minerals.html\">U.S. Identifies\nVast Mineral Riches in Afghanistan \u2013 NYTimes.com<\/a>, June 14, 2010). The US war on terror is a tax burden on\nthe American tax payer but very lucrative for all the US arms manufacturers,\nconstruction and other US-UK-European firms who are sharing all the spoils of\nreconstructing what their governments purposely destroyed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There was no Al Qaeda or ISIS during Saddam\u2019s reign but he was\nousted promising Iraq liberation. Iraq became a fighting ground for ISIS-US\ncontrol and Iraqis ended up losers. Libya was the most developed country in\nNorth Africa, its citizens enjoyed many freebies under its leader Gaddafi but\nimported \u2018rebels\u2019 and hired media projected the notion that the Libyans wanted\nGaddafi out and then it was a case of \u2018we came, we saw and he died\u2019 (Hillary\nClinton) Today, Libya is a hell hole. Libyans are grieving over the country\nthey lost &amp; the leader who was sodomized &amp; killed. Kosovo independence\ncame by funding Kosovo Liberation Army whose leader became the leader of newly\nindependent Kosovo and in exchange for independence came a massive NATO base in\nKosovo. There are 193 countries. Some 165,000 American Special Operations forces are deployed in&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tomdispatch.com\/blog\/176363\/tomgram%3A_nick_turse%2C_a_wider_world_of_war\/\">149 countries<\/a>&nbsp;in 2017 alone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ISIS is ousted in Middle East but replaced by US-UK-NATO isn\u2019t that\nconvenient!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2009 Sri Lanka ended LTTE and commenced a massive development\nprogram. In 2011 US announced \u2018Pivot to Asia\u2019 policy not surprisingly ISIL leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi\u2019s also\ndeclared a caliphate. In\n2013 China announced a global development program Belt &amp; Road Initiative. In\nSeptember 2014 Sri Lanka &amp; China sign Port-City Project same time that Ayman al-Zawahiri declares jihad in\nIndian subcontinent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Strangely, there are 200m Muslims in India but only 80 cases of\nISIS-related investigations. It was the Indian intelligence that alerted Sri\nLanka on the attacks, where even giving names of the killers too. What is\nstrange here is that according to Observer Research Foundation it was foreign\nintelligence that informed India on pro-ISIS activities on Facebook! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current happenings cannot be dislodged from the US-India\nbacked regime change that took place in 2015 to oust Rajapakse &amp; install a\npuppet &amp; a pawn to power to escalate the geopolitical objectives\npolitically via Sri Lanka\u2019s leadership. The go-away China chorus in 2015 by the\nPM backfired &amp; Sri Lanka\u2019s PM had to eventually crawl back to China and\noffer Hambantota Port as equity swop plus pay enormous compensation for closure\nof the Port City. Nevertheless, using the leverage from 2012,2013,2014 UNHRC\nResolutions, the West was quick to insist on internal system changes that would\nweaken the country, its national security plus pave way for even a new\nconstitution. India at the other end was pushing its agenda up North and in\nCentral Sri Lanka. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India &amp; West &amp; China\u2019s power struggle is making Sri\nLankans vulnerable at home because of a weak government unable to handle either\nwhile giving in to all without a proper national policy. It was a matter of\ntime that some form of destabilizing element would surface. All of these Islamic\nmilitants are locals whether they have had internal training or influence it is\nimmaterial. Laws must be applied and every person linked must be charged. The\nvery terrorism act that the West wanted annulled is what Sri Lanka has to turn\nto. When we have had 30 years of terrorism, foreigners have also died why is it\nthat the West wants their intelligence in Sri Lanka for just one act of terror?\nIs this linked to the status of forces agreement that is said to be secretly\nsigned that allows US troops in Sri Lanka where Sri Lankan laws are not\napplicable to them? A lot of people are in the dark at what is being signed by\nthe government as if Sri Lanka is their personal property. These approvals\nhidden from the citizens do not carry any weightage and should be annulled by a\nfuture government. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We do not wish to have any pivot, diplomatic or terrorist for the same reason of making Sri Lanka into a client state. We do not wish our beautiful island to be the ground for any hostilities between countries and we certainly do not wish to be victim of other people\u2019s hostilities. We have traditional friends and no one can ask us to stop our friendship with these countries. China\u2019s relationship with Sri Lanka is a long and cherished one.
