Let me give\na grim reminder what happened during Eelam War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In year\n2000, when the then Govt., accepted Norway\u2019s help to facilitate the\nnegotiations with the   Terrorist LTTE outfit, I wrote a small letter\nto Sunday Observer on March 12, 2000  titled SCREEN PEACE TALKS\nFACILITATORS<\/strong> and not to accept the chief facilitator Eric Solheim from\nNorway  without investigating into his credentials and his hidden agenda\nbut instead then government received him and his team with red carpet welcome.\nWhat was the outcome? Eric Solheim  the facilitator became the best of\nfriends of LTTE leader Prabhakaran and connived with him and LTTE until the end\nagainst the Government. He went to the extent of acting as God Father of LTTE\ndrafting infamous PTOM and CFA to facilitate LTTE agenda. Under the patronage\nof Eric Solheim, Tamil terrorists were nurtured on Norwegian soil as his own\nbaby. They were given military training and visits to military operation units\nin Norway;  gave refugee in Norway to the LTTE terrorists. Norwegian\ngovernment financed the LTTE to the teeth. Norway covertly assisted LTTE to\nsmuggle arms illegally to the Tamil tiger area; Norway supplied LTTE with the\nState of the Art military communication systems thro its Embassy abusing the\nDiplomatic Immunity. This is our past bad experience in inviting   an\nunknown devil to facilitate the peace talks with LTTE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are we\ngoing to do the same mistake now by accepting offers from some outside countries?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the\nrecent Islamic terror attack in Sri Lanka on 3 Christian churches and three\nfive star hotels killing 243 and injuring and maiming over 500 innocent\ncitizens of the country. In an interview with a foreign journalist SL PM \nmentioned that Donald Trump has called him personally and promised Sri Lanka\nwith necessary help to Sri Lanka to get over the current situation. Even the\nPresident of SL also said the same thing that some countries including some\nwestern countries have promised to help us. It\u2019s a known fact that most of the\nwestern block countries and their allied are covertly helping the ISIS\nfinancially through its friendly Middle East countries. In such circumstances,\ncan we trust those who have offered us help without any hidden agenda? By accepting\nhelp from the western block to fight the growing menace of Islamic militants,\nwe will face worst dangers by becoming  a target of ISIS enemy which will\nbe a worst outcome for our country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sri Lanka\ndoes not need any help to overcome present calamity created by ISIS and other\nIslamic militants. We have our expertise to fight against any kind of terrorism\nand amply demonstrated by annihilating the world most dreadful and dangerous\nterrorist outfit LTTE conclusively. Our Police, STF and the three armed forces\nare currently doing   excellent operations all over the country to\narrest the members of these Islamic militant groups and their hide outs. We\nhave bad experience of having invited Norway to facilitate peace talks with\nLTTE. Our seeking help from western countries will   have the same\neffect by planting their stooges in our country by to achieve their targets and\nexposing our country to multiple dangers by ISIS and other related Islamic\nmilitant groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, to save\nour country from any future dangers from any kind of militant groups be local\nor global, please do not accept any voluntary help from any foreign country who\nhave connections with ISIS and other militants.
