The Lankaweb \npublished the first part of this series on February 8, 2019.  In its last\npara we identified \u201d Mr Ranil Wickremasinghe  by\nfar the most shrewd  and intelligent politician of Sri Lanka.\u201d  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MINISTRY OF LAW AND\nORDER- UNDER RANIL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the formation of\nthe Government, Ranil Wickremasinghe or his UNP colleagues held the role of Law\nand Order.  Ranil himself held it for couple of months and then relegated\nto his erstwhile friend Sagala Ratnayake and then to Ranjith Madduma Bandara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this period\nRanil dismantled the intelligence network, downgraded its manpower, experienced\nOfficers were transferred to other Divisions in addition to arresting  and\njailing them.  Most of them are still behind bars, with no sign of legal\naction being instituted.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ranil did all this\nground work to satisfy LTTE diaspora, the West, the Indian political mafia and\nMuslim minorities.  At the time the Ministry was removed from him, the\nMinistry was virtually defunct.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MINISTRY OF LAW AND\nORDER-UNDER MAITHREE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maithreepala took over\nthe Ministry on 1 November 2018. Just couple of days before taking over the\nMinistry, the President appointed Mr Mahinda Rajapakse as Prime Minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RANIL\u2019S ANGER:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The loss of powerful\nMinistry of Law and Order and the appointment of Mahinda Rajapakse, did not go\ndown well in the books of Master Mind Ranil Wickremasinghe.  He became the\nPrime Minister again, yet without the Ministry of Law and Order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ATTACK ON CHURCHES:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 21 April 2019, the\nChurches were attacked, whilst President Sirisena was holidaying and shopping\nfor his son\u2019s wedding.  Ranil escaped to Nuwaraeliya for a holiday,\ninstead of going to his famous downsouth destinations off Baddegama.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MOTIVES:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I.                   \nSince the\nattack on Churches and killing hundreds of innocent worshippers, Ranil used the\nopportunity to blame the President  as he was the Minister.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

II.                 \nAdvocating\nthat President is incapable of holding the role of Ministry of Law and Order,\nRanil, his kiths and kins are now gearing up for a political promotion for\nconvicted criminal Sarath Fonseka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

III.               \nWithout\nTamils and Muslims support, Ranil is a political pedestrian.  Therefore,\nhe will use his skills of political manoeuvre to retain the position of Prime\nMinister and destroy Maithreepala politically.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bond Scam, the\nfailure to bring back Arjun Mahendran, the alleged coup to assassinate the\nPresident Maithreepala and the former Defence Secretary, the 21 April attack on\nChurches by Muslim Terrorists  may not be mere coincidences. <\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
