The Opposition had protested the Government\u2019s decision. However, the Government had insisted on appointing a Select Committee as none of the allegations against Bathiudeen had been proved so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Accordingly, the Select Committee is set to give its report on the matter after three weeks upon the date of appointment.
