Since\nthe beginning of this year, there had been public outcry for the release of\nGnanasara Thero.   But our illustrious President Sirisena did not act\nat that time.  Now, it has become clearer that President Sirisena did not\nact himself on intelligence  inputs  received regarding April 21\nattack.  Therefore, the President need to carpet the public anger against\nhim by creating a new situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many\ncomments made by Gnanasara Thero in regard to Muslim activities have come\ntrue.  In his speeches, he has clearly identified the dangers and if the\nPresident and the dubious Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe  did act at\nthat time, hundred of lives could have been saved.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Releasing\nthe Thero at this time, in my opinion, is similar to adding oil to fire. \nThis decision is most likely to ignite anger against  innocent\nmuslims.   The Thero most likely to become much more aggressive and\ncreate unrest in the country, paving way for the postponement of Presidential\nand General Elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since\nthe time President Sirisena appointed President Mahinda Rajapakse, he had the\nulterior motive to persuade SLPP to support him for the second term. \nPresident Sirisena is now fully aware  that his plan will not\nsucceed.   To split the votes of Gotabaya Rajapakse,  he now\nplan to use Gnanasara Thero and seek his support for his candidacy.  \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\nhave a President and a Prime Minister failed in their duties to  provide\nsecurity to the Nation<\/strong>.  They have no regard to the\nhundreds of lives lost and several others injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nbehaviour of President Sirisena is very similar to a Monkey with a Sword in its\nhand.   <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\ncan be argued if Sarath Fonseka can be pardoned, why not Gnanasara Thero? \n<\/strong>In\nthe jungle of dirty politics of Sri Lanka, we pray peace and harmony to all\ncitiens in these difficult times. The general public must be educated by the\nOpposition to prevent them causing communal unrest by falling into the trap set\nup by a Foolish President and Prime Minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
