Athureliye Rathana Thera<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for turning the country around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At a time when leading Sinhalese politicians were not prepared\nto identify themselves as Sinhala Buddhists, when the Sinhalese were divided on\nparty lines, when leaders were behaving like Ostriches with their heads buried\nin the sands, promoting multi \u2013 culturalism and reconciliation both of which\nhave collapsed like a pack of cards, and when Sinhalese have realized that they\nhave been taken for a ride and deceived by empty slogans and were waiting for a\ntrue leader with a back bone to call the shots in the country, you arrived at\nthe right moment to give voice to the Sinhalese and the people all around the\ncountry rallied around you saying \u2018 At last we have a leader with a moral back\nbone\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The result was the resignation of two of the most despised men\nin the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a huge milestone in the life of the nation and in your\npersonal life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You have used non \u2013 violence as a weapon and like Mahatma Gandhi\nhave shown its high potential to cleanse and purify society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Go Forward O Monk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teach moral cowards to take pride in our &#8216; Rata, Jathiya, Agama&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senaka Weeraratna<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senaka Weeraratna Ven.
