It\nwas reported that an individual from Polonnaruwa had proven his innocence to a\ntraffic cop by dropping the sarong he was wearing. The incident is as follows;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A young man had gone\nto a nearby filling station in his lorry to get a barrel of fuel when his\ntractor ceased due to fuel exhaustion when ploughing the paddy field. On his\nreturn, he had been stopped by a policeman who was on traffic duty to check for\nhis insurance certificate and driving licence. After he had produced the\nrelevant documents, the policeman had taken out his notebook and recorded\ncertain remarks allegedly to file a case against the driver. When he had\ninquired as to what offence he committed, the policeman had told that he was\nusing his mobile phone while driving. Denying the claim saying he did not have\na phone, the drivers had told he would accept any penalty if a phone was found\nin his possession. When the cop had not found a phone after checking the driver\nand searching his vehicle, he had asked the driver if he were wearing knickers\nto which he responded “no” and to prove it, exposed himself by\ndropping his sarong. During the last few\nweeks we have seen and heard many incidents where lot of people  were\ncaught pants down .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In place of the pants\nin  is the sarong which  was dropped to show his nakedness <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In today\u2019s context PSC\nis trying hell bent to catch their leaders sarong down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only difference when\n sarong is down , you are named and shamed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the leaders were\ntrying to lift the sarong up and say so what ?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remember a small\nincident when I was running the shipyard . I was walking around the yard just\nbefore workers lay down the tools finishing their shift to ensure that none of\nthe workers are in changing rooms before the siren indicating end of the\nshift <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was looking up the\nwindows of the changing room to ensure that they are empty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One young man was\nstanding by one of the glass windows with his sarong down towards me! Giving the\nmessage that I do not bloody care <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I looked at his Crown\nJewels and Shouted Yakko,  umdata oya thiyana ekata wada loku ekkak mata\n thiyanawa\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He slowly retreated<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaders should not\nstand and watch that their sarong is down but lift it and say go to\nhell I am innocent <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That may be why the\nleader has said I am not obliging to send any of my men to be crucified with a\nmotive to catch me with sarong down <\/p>\n\n\n\n
