There is evidence that Saudi Arabia is\nconnected to the bomb blasts.\none of the masterminds who orchestrated the Easter Sunday bomb blasts ,\nMilshan  was arrested in Saudi Arabia.  Later came\nthe information that four key members of National Thowheeed\nJamaath (NTJ), hailing from Batticaloa\nand Ampara had fled to Saudi Arabia prior to the Easter Sunday suicide\nbombings. A team of police intelligence officers were sent to Saudi Arabia to\ninterrogate them. The SLFP meanwhile\nsaid at a news conference in Colombo in May 2019   that Qatar and Saudi Arabia were funding\nterrorism in Sri Lanka . Qatar\nprotested.  But Army chief Mahesh\nSenanayake said  on  22nd May \n2019 that at least two suspects have been arrested in Qatar and Saudi\nArabia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saudi\nArabia has known before hand about the \nEaster Sunday bombings . A leaked \u2018urgent, confidential and top secret\u2019\ndocument obtained by Lebanese website Al-Ahed News claims that Saudi Arabia had\nalerted its Ambassador to Sri Lanka regarding a possible security threat some\nfive days before the Easter Sunday attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nLebanuese  website shows a letter, which\ncarries the date of April 16, allegedly sent by Saudi Foreign Minister Ibrahim\nbin Abdul Aziz al-Assaf\u2019s to Saudi Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Abdul Nasser\nal-Harethi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\ndocument says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \n                     \n                   <\/strong>Urgent \u2013 Top Secret       \n                     \n                     \n        <\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Excellency Ambassador Abdul Nasser bin Hussein al-Harethi<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You should carry\nout the following measures immediately:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First: You should\ndelete all documents, computer data and latest correspondence with domestic and\nforeign members and groups, in addition to imposing a curfew for the embassy\npersonnel unless it is necessary<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second:  You\nshould inform all those related to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia including\ncounselors, security forces and intelligence during the three coming days,\nespecially on the Christian Easter Day, to avoid presence in public and crowded\nplaces namely churches<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third: You should\nsend written news about the Sri Lankan authorities and their viewpoints\nregularly to this ministry<\/p>\n\n\n\n
