Re: Canada distorts the Truth about\nTamil Genocide allegations in Sri Lanka<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 I read with hurried interest the news item Canada\nto support conflict prevention in Sri Lanka , <\/em><\/strong>in The Island <\/em><\/strong>of July 4,\nreporting what you had said on Canada Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading it,\none would have expected this expatriate Sinhalese-Sri Lankan-Canadian who has\nbeen domiciled in Canada, since 26 August 1968 (with a  hiatus between 29 May 1970, and October 16,\n1970), first in St. John\u2019s, Newfoundland and then in Ottawa since 16 October\n16, 1970, to tell himself, O! Canada, you have finally seen the light\nabout Sri Lanka.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If what you\nsaid should had excited the cockles of my heart and made me sit on a Roman Candle<\/em> on Canada Day<\/strong> fire-works display, to shoot myself up into the indigo\nsky throwing multi-coloured fireballs on everyone down below,  shouting \u201dYippee..yippee\u201d<\/strong><\/em>  with joy \ncelebrating Canada Day,  but,\nOops,  unfortunately it never happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why not?<\/em><\/strong>\u201d You may ask.  There was an undertone of bigotry in your\nstatement\u201d<\/em><\/strong>,I would say. Then what would have satisfied the cockles\nof your heart?\u201d <\/em><\/strong>you may ask. And I would have responded,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\nis easy.  If your statement had been –\nCanada to support conflict prevention in Sri Lanka as well as in Canada by\nreining the anti-Sri Lanka politicians who make the reconciliation process\ndifficult by sustaining the Eelam rhetoric \nwith their questionable statements and Private Member Bills and voting\nto probe Tamil Genocide\u201d in Sri Lanka which never happened, like a bunch of\nTamil Blarney Curry-in-a-Hurry popsicle suckers.\u201d  <\/em><\/strong>That would have delighted me and I would have said,\nThank You, High Commissioner David McKinnon, you are one honest Canadian\ndiplomat, much, much better than High Commissioner Nancy Stiles who had a soft\nspot for the Tamil Eelam cause.  Way to\ngo Sir!\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brampton\nCity Council under its veteran Sri Lanka hater \nMayor Patrick Brown,  declaring\nMay 18 as the City\u2019s Remembrance Day of\nTamil Genocide, <\/strong>only showed your bigotry, This is the MP for Barrie who\nbicycled around Parliament\u2019s campus with NDP rookie Tamil MP Rathika\nSitsabaiesan in October 2011 showing the Channel 4 questionable film,\u201dSri\nLanka\u2019s Killing Fields\u201d film, with John Argue of Amnesty International\nfollowing them like a sick puppy to give their dubious act  legitimacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you know\nwhat High Commissioner? That declaration of the Brampton City Council,  kicked and woke up the sleeping Sinhalese\nlions and lionesses as over 600 of them demonstrated in front of Brampton City\nCouncil on May 21.  I believe the Council\nwas sitting in its Chamber that evening and heard the  \u2018lion and lioness\u2019 roars of the angry\ndemonstrators loud and clearly in protest shouting Patrick Brown you are a\nClown.\u201d   This is the same anti-Sri Lanka\nhating MP who lambasted the Sri Lanka Government  on TV in mid- 2009 for not giving him and his\ncolleague Paul Calandra visas to enter Sri Lanka in mid-2009 to check on the\nTamil refugee camps in the North.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 I thought it was an unfair demand when the Sri\nLanka Government was involved in the horrendous logistics to provide\ncomfortable accommodation to the 295,873 Tamil refugees that they rescued from\nthe clutches of the Tamil Tigers and preparing a million hearty meals a day,\nbreakfasts, lunches and dinners, than spend time to provide visas and security\nto Patrick Brown and Paul Calandra, when they were not even Junior Ministers of\nthe Canadian Government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 You bet, \nthese Sinhalese protesters won\u2019t go to sleep again, as  they have had enough of this Tamil blarney\nfrom the separatist Tamils and their Canadian politician supporters, who have\nsold their souls for a Tamil vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The question\nto you High Commissioner is, what are you going to do about it?  Are you going to rein in these politicians of\ndeceit, who have willfully broken the Human\nRights Code of reconciliation<\/strong>, and introduced their Tamil Tiger Code of re-CON-ciliation, <\/strong>between the\nSinhalease and the separatist-Tamils. Too bad!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then there\nwas ACT 2<\/strong> of \u2018Tamil Genocide in Sri Lanka: The dishonest Play of Tamil Genocide\nBlarney<\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The City of\nToronto under the Mayorship of John Tory \ntoo proclaimed May 18 as the Tamil\nGenocide Remembrance Day.\u201d <\/strong> and\nso  pouffff went your statement , Canada\nto support conflict prevention in Sri Lanka, <\/em><\/strong>but Canada certainly keeps\nthe banned Tamil Tiger flag flying with such Tamil Genocide Tamil Blarney\nproclamations.  So, High Commissioner\nDavid McKinnon,  your statement on Canada\nDay had lost its currency of diplomatic honesty.  So what are you going to do about it?  And the Tamil Tiger Code of re-CON-ciliation<\/strong> lives another day in\nCanada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then there\nwas ACT 3<\/strong> of \u2018Tamil Genocide in Sri Lanka: The dishonest Play of Tamil Genocide\nBlarney,\u2019 <\/strong>which blew your statement \u2018Canada to support conflict prevention in\nSri Lanka\u2019<\/em><\/strong> into smithereens,  \nThat was a cruel joke on the Sri Lankans.  How could you support conflict prevention\nwhen the pro-Eelam politicians keep \nstirring the witches brew in an iron cauldron decorated with the Canadian\nred Maple leaf.  This is \u2018Bigotry\u201d I\nsaid, and I will say it again.  It is\nbigotry in the first order! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was Act 3,<\/strong> when 59 members of the Ontario\nLegislature stood up in the Legislative-Chamber and said Aye\u201d  pushing through the Second Reading of Tamil Genocide Bill 104. <\/strong> This Bill\n104 <\/strong>was drafted packed with indelible untruths, lies,  to proclaim a Tamil Genocide Education Week in\nOntario.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My\nobservation was, Are these 59  Moms and\nDads, the majority who very likely have young families who are focused to\nbringing up their childen in an honest Global Village, trying not to pollute\ntheir young minds with the words Tamil\nGenocide in Sri Lanka, <\/strong>when it never happened.  And mind you, the word Genocide\u201d<\/strong> is twinned with the active word Hate\u201d.<\/strong>  What?   A Canadian kid who wouldn\u2019t recognize where\nthe little speck of an island, a pimple in the Indian Ocean is in a world map,\nbeing taught  that there was Tamil-Genocide<\/strong>  in that remote island of Sri Lanka, and  thus hating\nthe<\/strong> guilty, the Sinhalese-Canadian classmates.  This is surreal.   This is insane. This is poppycock-crazy!.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These 59\nAye\u201d saying Councillors have to take that parental responsibility for\ndistorting the truth, when Tamil-Genocide<\/strong>\nnever happened.  Shish!  What nastiness.  I object to this Bill 104<\/strong> which is a callous act of mockery of the word Truth\u201d<\/strong> \nIt is an incipient act of divisiveness of the multi-ethnic Sri\nLankan-Canadan community right across Canada, just not only in the Province of\nOntario.  This Bill 104<\/strong> insults the dignity of the Sri Lankan-Sinhalese Canadian\ncommunity, which I happen to be one of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that Bill 104<\/strong> denies the validity of your\nstatement in Colombo on Canada Day, High Commissioner McKinnon.  And that is a sad indictment of guilt of\nbigotry.  That is the rub.  And that’s how the cookie  crumbles, Mr. High Commissioner.  The question is, what are you going to do\nabout it when it impacts on you and your statement on Canada Day?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And here is Act 4<\/strong> of  Tamil Genocide in Sri Lanka:\nThe dishonest Play of Tamil Genocide Blarney\u201d, <\/strong>and it is a doosey, showing\nthat our Canada is a nation of putrid-arrogance, to promote ourselves as We are Holier than Thou.\u201d<\/strong>  And that is an overkill, isn\u2019t it High\nCommissioner David McKinnon?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is a\nperfect textbook example of a Canadian pot calling a Sri Lankan kettle black.\nSpecially, when Canada is accused of Genocide\u201d on Aboriginal women  <\/em><\/strong>in a voluminous Report, \u2018Claim\nour Power and Our Place\u2019<\/em><\/strong> delivered on Monday, June 3, 2019, to the\nCanadian authorities which was written after two years of work by a specialized\nCommission – that thousands of indiginous women were murdered or missing in\nrecent decades have been victims of \u2018Genocide<\/strong>\u2019;\nin our Canada,  and Lo behold, the NDP Motion was adopted in\nthe House of Commons to investigate Sri Lanka\u2019s actions to defeat Tamil Tiger\nTerrorism in the years 2006 to 2009 as an act of Genocide\u201d.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. High\nCommissioner, all what I want to do is scream saying Give me a break, Canada.\u201d<\/em><\/strong>  That Motion was proposed by NDP and was\npassed in the House with the consent of all parties on the 19th of June,\n2019.  Wow!  What a colonial-type of arrogance!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ha! All\nparties they said.   What?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Let\u2019s look at these parties clinically, and\ntheir interest in Sri Lanka, and their extraordinary interest in the separatist\nTamil Movement, and warring with the Sri Lankan armed forces for 30-bloodying\nyears, to carve out one-third of the prime real estate in the north and east to\ncreate their mono-ethnic, racist, separate Tamil State, Eelam<\/em> for 12% of the population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NDP\u2019s\nsupport for the separatist Tamils  was\nexposed when their  late leader Jack\nLayton compared the  leader of the\nruthless serial assassins, the Tamil Tiger terrorists, Velupillai Prabhakaran\nto South Africa\u2019s Nelson Mandela, in front of 10,000 Tamils at Queen\u2019s\nPark.   Nelson Mandela would have turned\nin his grave, looked straight into Jack Layton\u2019s eyes and told him, Stop insulting me man.  Are you an idiot or what!\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was Jack\nLayton who called for an Emergency Meeting on Sri Lanka at the Parliamentary\nChambers on 4th February 2009, which was a circus of clowns.  I watched them on CPAC and christened this\nevent as the  Canadian Tamil Tiger Blarney Gong\nShow.  <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So the\nNDPiers sold their souls to the Tamil Diaspora, to seek a favour from them –\ntheir bloc vote.  And they have the gall and\ntemerity to pass a motion in parliament to investigate Sri Lanka\u2019s action to\ndefeat Tamil Tiger terrorism between 2006 and 2009 as an act of Genocide.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I\nwouldn\u2019t hesitate to tell Ms.Salma Zahid, MP for Scarborough Center, to get off\nher high-horse and try not to embarrass herself, by trying to be smart to win\nthe Tamil votes in her constituency.  And\nnot to challenge the strategy and intelligence of the Sri Lankan Armed Forces\nfor annihilating the Tamil Tiger terrorists to give back the  most coveted human right, the right-to-life<\/em><\/strong>\nto 21 million peoples which had been hijacked by the Tamil Tigers for 30 long\nyears.  Come down from your high-horse\nMs. Salma Zahid.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s look\nat the Liberals<\/strong>, clinically, why\nthey looked aside when the separatist Tamil Diaspora collected 2 million\ndollars a month for 13 years under the leadership of<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prime\nMinisters Jean Chretian and Paul Martin, to stuff the Tamil Tiger War Chest to\nbuy a sophisticated armoury of Kalashnikovs, bullets, land mines, claymore\nmines, et cetera, to help win their separatist war. Hmmmm!  In other words, Canada aided and abetted that\nEelam war and prolonged it.  There is No ifs and buts.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was the\nLiberals in 1994 who let a member of the Tamil Diaspora cut a cheque from a\nBank in Vancouver to pay the Rubizone Chemical Factory in the Ukraine for the\npurchase of 10 tons of hexogen, plastic explosives like Semtex; 50 tons of TNT,\nand a large quantity of electric timing caps and detonator cord.  These were the explosives that were used in a\ntruck bomb to bring down the Central Bank Building in Colombo, on January 31,\n1996.  That truck bomb killed 114 people\nand  maimed 1,338 others for life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so the\nLiberal Party had the gall and temerity to support this brainless motion by the\nNDP to investigate Sri Lanka\u2019s actions between 2006 and 2009 which they say was\nan act of Genocide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It were the Liberal\nTerrible 5<\/em><\/strong> – Robert Oliphant, Jim Karygiannis, Judy Sgro, Derek Lee and\nAlbina Guanierri, who accused the Sri Lanka Government of Genocide during the Canadian\nTamil Tiger Blarney Gong Show o<\/em><\/strong>n 4 February 2009.  When questioned about Genocide\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, this Liberal\nTerrible 5 choked.  They just could  not back up their allegation.  Your Excellency, at that point I fell on my\nknees  with my palms together and I asked\n, the Sweet Mother of Jesus, to help Sri Lanka from these moronic Canadian\naccusations.  All this for a Tamil\nvote.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And finally,\nlets clinically analyse the Conservatives<\/strong>\nwho supported this motion of the NDP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was the\nConservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper who went into a hissy-fit and\nboycotted the Commonwealth Heads of Government Conference held in Colombo  in November 2013.  He was merely pandering to the Tamil voters\nin the Greater Toronto Area.  This was\nembarrassing as he expected the other Commonwealth Heads like the UK and\nAustralia to file behind him in support. \nThere was not a snowball’s chance in hell for his silliness. He was\nsnubbed as they all more or less told him, All right Stephen, if you want to\nstay back, go ahead and stay back but we are going to Colombo to attend the\nSummit.  If you want to go to the corner\nof your office, stick your thumb in your mouth and sulk, that is your\nbusiness.  Good luck!\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So he sent\nhis emissary  Minister Deepak Obhrai to\nrepresent him and Canada.  And he was\nanother disaster. Another embarrassment and angered the majority of the Sri\nLankan-Sinhalese Canadians across Canada.  He acted like a High School Bully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked\nby a Sri Lankan Official, not to lay a wreath for the Tamils who died for their\nEelam cause at Elephant Pass, he was rude and did it anyway,  He said that it was a neutral spot where he\nlaid the wreath.  He obviously didn\u2019t do\nhis homework nor did your High Commission in Colombo.  I had to point it out in a letter that\nElephant Pass was the war theatre for three major battles between the Tamil\nTigers and the SriLankan Armed Forces. \nSo he returns to Canada, meets the Tamil separatists in Toronto to tell\nthem what he did for them.  Thus wanting\nthem to return the favour by giving the Conservatives their vote.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All this for\na Tamil vote and sustaining the separatist Tamils in Canada by providing them\nwith enough oxygen to continue their War from the Canadian Legislature\nChambers, to claim their mono-ethnic, racist, separate Tamil State, Eelam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what are\nyou going to do about it Mr. High Commissioner? \nYou know as well as I know and so does the other Canadian Foeign Affairs\ndiplomats know, that although the Tamil Tigers were militarily defeated on the\nshores of the Nandikadal lagoon on the east coast in Sri Lanka on 19 May 2009,\nthat war continues in the legislative chambers of the Federal, Provincial and\nCity Councils in Canada.  All for the\nTamil votes using the Tamil Genocide\nbogey which never happened,<\/strong>  Shame\non  the \nCanadian politicians who support the allegations of Tamil Genocide in\nSri Lanka  And that is the rub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let me share\nmy last observations which has pained me for the past decade. Why three events\nin Sri Lanka have missed the radar of Canadian political bleeding hearts of\nHuman rights.  This amazes me, which\nproves that we are not squeaky clean and \nlive a lie that we are a bunch of Goody-two-shoes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. When the world patted the back of Sri Lanka after she annihilated the ruthless Tamil Tiger terrorists on 19 May 2009, saying, Good Show, way to go Sri Lanka\u201d,<\/strong> but Foreign Minister of Canada, Hon. Lawrence Cannon put out the most pathetic Press Release ignoring this classic event, when the world was fighting to eliminate terrorism, and Sri Lanka annahilated the ruthless Tamil Tiger terrorists after a 30-year long war almost single handed, Canada had nothing congratulatory to say to the Sri Lanka Government.\u00a0 That was pathetic.\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 I smell a rat here, High Commissioner;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    1. When by the end of the Tamil Tiger terrorist War\u00a0 on 19, May 2009, the Sri Lankan soldiers rescued 295,873, Tamil refugees from the clutches of the Tamil Tigers, who marched them for 30 months from the west coast to the east\u00a0 coast, like unwashed cattle as a human shield\u00a0 under a scorching hot\u00a0 Jaffna-Killinochchi sun, which was\u00a0 a historic classic textbook event of a Human rescue from terrorists, This did not show up on the Canadian Government’s bleeding heart radar. Not a word of acknowledgement.\u00a0 Sick! Why? I smell another stinky Canadian rat here!<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3.\u00a0 The amazing humanitarian effort of preparing a million hearty breakfasts\u00a0 lunches and dinners every day to feed the 295,873 Tamil refugees\u00a0 housed in temporary camps, to keep them alive, missed the Canadian Government\u2019s bleeding heart Radar, again.\u00a0 Not a hum…not a word by the Canadian Government so\u00a0 far\u00a0 And especially\u00a0 when the Sri Lankan soldiers, mainly Sinhalese were part of the army of cooks who prepared these million meals. each day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Not a word.. not a hum from Canadian Government\u00a0 bleeding hearts\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 I \u00a0suspect one more stinky rat again.\u00a0 This classic humanitarian event didn\u2019t \u00a0show up in the Canadian\u00a0 Government\u2019s Bleeding Heart radar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All this shows that there is a lack of honesty in all these Canadian shenanigans on Sri Lanka\u2019s war against the most ruthless Tamil terrorists\u00a0 who perfected the suicide bodyt pack<\/strong> which was used to assassinate \u00a0\u00a0 India\u2019s Rajiv Gandhi and Sri Lanka\u2019s President Ranasinghe Premadasa.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Do you know why, High Commissioner David McKinnon?\u00a0\u00a0 I wish you would\u00a0\u00a0 share this information with me.\u00a0 I have suspicions but I need\u00a0 a confirmation\u00a0 from someone with authority that I can trust.\u00a0 I like to believe that you are \u00a0not a Nancy Stiles.\u00a0 A Canadian diplomat that I could trust\u00a0\u00a0 I hope we will meet someday, somewhere when we can exchange our \u00a0 views on these issues which needs answers. I am not a happy camper, the\u00a0 first Sinhelese-Sri Lankan Canadian together with my colleague\u00a0 Asoka Yapa who was fearless and dismissed the Tamil serparatist intimidation, and went on National TV\u2019s\u00a0 evening 6 o\u2019clock News, on 4 August 1983, to defend the good name of our Motherland Sri Lanka.\u00a0 By then she had been bashed to\u00a0 pulp, kicked and spat at by these separatist Canadian-Tamils day in and\u00a0\u00a0day out for eight long days in the print and audio-visual media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Enough was enough.\u00a0 We took them on\u00a0 to let the Canadians know\u00a0\u00a0 our side of the story.\u00a0 Since 4 August 1983, I have been singing –\u00a0 \u2018Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the Liar of them all.\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
