The thirty years of terrorism though it affected the whole country through uncertainty of life, threat of the division of the country, loss of peace and security , we the Sinhala Buddhists \u00a0were able to keep the unity of the communities suffering under terrorism , protect the\u00a0 Sinhala Buddhist culture, maintain the pride of being \u00a0members of a Sri Lankan nation, and the willingness to fight against terrorism despite the risk to life, and \u00a0continue \u00a0our religious practices without fear and maintain a satisfactory standard of living., even if that was\u00a0 at a\u00a0 great loss of\u00a0 life and property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But today, after  four years of Yahapalanaya of Maithripala\nSirisena and Ranil Wickramasinghe , what is left of that Sri Lanka which existed before they\ncame into power on the 8th<\/sup> January,2015 ?  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yahapalanaya  boasts that it brought back democracy , and\nallowed media freedom. But  they presume\nthe people have forgotten  what the  situation was before 8th<\/sup>\nJanuary2015. It  was different, with a\nmost ruthless terrorism  which no one from\nJR Jayawardhana to Chandrika Kumaratunga  was able to stop. But, even then,  democracy was \nnot at stake, though  a certain\namount of media control was necessary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No one can remove\nthe frightful situation that existed \nthen in Sri Lanka\n, when  criticising Mahinda Rajapakse and\nhis Government. Things were unusual  and\nthe actions that had to be taken were also  unusual. Mahinda Rajapakse\u2019s  government had to move cautiously keeping in\nmind the existing uncertain situation with terrorism on the one onehand  with foreign interventionists  try to thwart military operations, and on the\nother hand to feed a nation, keep employment \nat a safe level, and  carry\nout  development projects . <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the UNP\nParliamentarians at TV political debates incessantly shout themselves hoarse on\nRajapussella shooting incident, a white van culture, disappearance of\njournalists  without having  any substantial proofs  of involvement of Mahinda Rjapakse and his\ngovernment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main accusation\nlevelled at Mahinda Rajapakse and his government is that it was corrupt. But no\none has been able to prove until today whether Mahinda Rajapakse and his family\nand his  close associates had committed\nany serious bank robberies or misappropriations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But  there are only  rumours , false unfounded accusations, and\ngarish scandalous utterances, all merely to slander, insult  to make Mahinda Rajapakse, his family and his\nassociates unpopular, with the intention of keeping political power  in their own  hands. Even then although they  took over the Government from Mahainda\nRajapakse , they could not take away  from Mahinda Rajapakse and his associates\nthe  love, the affection, and the\nconfidence the  real people of the\ncountry had placed on them.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the 8th<\/sup>\nJanuary,2015 the people voted for Maithripala Siriuesena, but the people never\nvoted for Ranil Wickramasinghe to become the Prime Minister . Ranil\nwickramasinghe was only appointed the Prime Minister by the President\nMaithripala Sirisena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There  is now a \nrift between the President and the Prime Minister- a disagreement  of political views and political action. This\nmeans that there is a rift  also in the\nconfidence the people placed  on\nPresident  Maithripala Sirisena as\nPresident,  viz a viz   Ranil Wickramasinghe  who was \n selected by the President as the\nPrime Minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately the\nJudiciary erred in their decision that the President had no right to dissolve\nthe parliament before the end of four and a half years. Since then Ranil\nWickramasinghe the Prime Minister has been \ntaking arbitrary decisions  on\nvarious matters without consulting the President or the Parliament, to the\ndetriment of the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today   Sri Lanka\nis facing a serious political situation with almost empty state coffers,\nadministrative mismanagement by entering into agreements with foreign countries  resulting in loosing the sovereignty of the\ncountry, making Sri Lanka a\nplay ground for the  USA and the West like what  Cuba was under Baptista before\nFidel castro ousted him .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

USA has an unholy government apparatus. They lack\nhuman qualities of  love, compassion and\ngenerosity. An American institution like the CIA, is a symbol of how\nunconcerned USA is with regard\nto  helping the poor countries to develop\nindependently in their own way without USA  interfering into their internal  affairs , because of the American economic and\nmilitary power.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both USA and Canada are what they are today\nbecause of the complete depletion of the population of the original inhabitants\nof the country the American Indians and the Canadian First Nation.  They talk of democracy having nailed the\ncoffins of the real  owners of the America and Canada. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

USA is still continuing their disastrous\nmanipulative  non-democratic political\ngame to keep the developing countries under their filthy iron feet.  They want to do  the same they \ndid using their CIA to Guatamala, Iran, Chili, and Congo\nthen,  and to Iraq,\nLibya,\netc. in the recent past.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They used a man\u2019s\nweakness for sex to deprive France\nof  perhaps a good President. They are\ntrying to do that to Sri Lanka\nby using the sin of having taken USA\ncitizenship to deprive a man loved by the people of Sri\n Lanka from: becoming a good President to his motherl and  his people in Sri Lanka.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To-do all that USA  along\nwith the Western Governments has done to Sri\n Lanka  is to help  setting up a weak puppet yahapalanaya\ngovernment  in Sri Lanka using their agent the\nmember of the International Democratic Union \nRanil Wickramasinghe. The UNP Parliamentarians and members of the  UNP follow Ranil Wickramasinghe  without questioning his actions or  intentions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yahapalanaya\nGovernment from the day it was set up in Jnauary,2015 traced a path to\ndestroy  Sri Lanka nurtured  in its Sinhala Buddhist Culture, by giving an\nimportant place for  a process of\nreconciliation with the Tamils. They commenced by destroying the identity of\nSri Lanka by allowing the National Anthem to be sung in Sinhala and Tamil,  a thing that never happened in any other\nCountry in the world  before.  All nations have one National Anthem sung in\none language- the language of the majority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that the\nYahapalanaya set the trail for leading the country towards bankruptcy by\nstaging a Bond Scam robbery  twice and\nemptied the Government Coffers and went on a spree of debt raising putting the\nblame on the  necessity to re-pay loans taken\nby the  previous government of  President Mahinda Rajapakse for the develop of\nthe country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yahapalanaya also\nbegan by  stopping   development projects started by Mahinda\nRajapaksa government. it stopped  the\ndevelopment work of the Colombo City funded by China  causing unemployment to thousands of workers.\nGroping in political darkness Ranil Wickramasinghe who had diminished the\npowers of the President Sirisena under 19A was acting on his own signing\nagreements with Singapore, India, China\nand USA\nwithout consulting the President or the parliament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

USA had helped Ranil to drive nails into the\ncoffin of real democracy, and hoist a name plate democracy of which he trumpets\nto a fooled nation of a renewed  democracy, freedom of the press and the end of\na white van culture.  Ranil\nWickramasinghe even took over the  Judiciary on to his side with USA twisting his arms trying to set up  its own legal system in Sri Lanka along\nwith a base camp for the American Armed Forces. Besides that the Yahapalanaya\nhas imported Islamic terrorism, and made Sri Lanka a dumping ground of\nBritish Garbage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Presidential\nelection  is due to be held in Sri Lanka\nand if by some bad luck or through the sins the people have committed, and for\ntheir bad kamma Ranil Wickramasinghe or a some one  from the political front lead by him would\ncome to power, that would be the end of Sinhala Buddhist Sri Lanka with over\n2000 years of history. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The people of Sri\nLanka should wake up to the looming danger and avoid voting for  any Presidential Candidate of the UNP or a\nUnited Front lead by the UNP, Ranil Wickramasinghe or the J.V.P.   <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If Sri Lanka is to be saved from\ndangers it is facing today a solution is with the former President  Mahinda Rajapakse who had the vision and the\nability to find ways to win the war with \nthe  ruthless terrorists, and  parallel to it develop the country from rigors\nof a thirty year terrorism and the ashes of poverty.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ability of\nsetting the Sri Lanka back on its feet to walk towards a targeted development\nprocess, is in the camp of the Sri Lanka Podu Janaperamuna led by Mahinda\nRajapakse and his patriotic supporters.  \n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One has to tread the\nground carefully in making plans to rescue Sri Lanka dragging it out of the\npolitical, economic and social mire into which it has been pushed by\nYahapalanaya goons blinded by power, \nclean, and nurse  the Country\nbefore setting it back on its staggering feet weakened after four and a half\nyears of destructive Yahapalanaya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sri Lanka Podujana\nPeramuna would probably  propose the\nformer Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapakse as their Presidential Candidate .\nHe has shown his ability to stand against foreign powers and face the  local political and racial elements in the\ninterest of the country and produce strong surprisingly fresh development\nprojects to develop   towns and the\ncountry, using the Armed Forces in useful development projects.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There may be those\nwho criticise him for personal reasons but if one is selflessly looking at the\ncountry as a whole, the ideal candidate for the Presidential election, and\nsubsequently  to lead the Country as its\nPresident would certainly be Gotabhaya Rajapakse, even if there are complaints\nthat he is a military man rather than a politician to be the President of Sri\nLanka, Once in power he is quite capable of adjusting himself  to political needs as he proved his ability to\nsuccessfully coordinate  different Armed\nForces of the ground, air and sea, to eliminate terrorism from Sri Lanka, and\nlater to start development projects  bringing\n peace and security to the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
