The term\u00a0is often synonymous with\u00a0cult\u201d and used to describe a philosophical or political\u00a0group, especially one regarded as extreme or dangerous.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Amarapura and Ramanna communities\nare&nbsp;distinguished Buddhist&nbsp;<strong>traditions\u201d, <\/strong>established by\nVenerable Sri Lankan monks, who spent considerable time in Burma.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reference in the Adaderana news clip to\nthe Amarapura and Ramanna Buddhist&nbsp;traditions as&nbsp;sects\u201d is\nderogatory.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another way of referring to different Buddhist\ntraditions is to&nbsp;describe them as&nbsp;schools\u201d of Buddhism. Please see\nthe way the Victoria and&nbsp;Albert Museum in London refers to\ndifferent&nbsp;Buddhist traditions:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vam.ac.uk\/content\/articles\/b\/buddhist-schools\/\">http:\/\/www.vam.ac.uk\/content\/articles\/b\/buddhist-schools\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In your website, in the&nbsp;About Us\u201d\nsection, you describe your news channel as&nbsp;probably the most unbiased and\ncomprehensive news property on offer\u201d.
