Abolishing the\nRajiv \/JR Accord of 29 July 1987 whish has almost nullified the Sri Lankan\nConstitution of 1987 by compelling us to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1)            Accept the North and East as the\nTraditional Home land of the Tamils   (1\/3 of the country and 2\/3 of the coastal\nbelt plus the marine resources for just less than 5 % of the nations population\nwo are claiming a separate Rata EELAM) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2)            Making Tamil also a National\nLanguage in this country and<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3)            Granting Sri Lankan Citizenship to\nall Estate Tamils contrary to the Nehru\/Kotalawala Pact of       1954 and thereby paving the way for India\nto convert the entire Central Hill country of this country in to an overseas\nIndian Protectorate in future.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 Reducing the\nCabinet to maximum of 20 and the number of Politicians in Parliament and\nPradesiya Sabhas, abolishing the National list and going back to earlier\nelectoral system abolishing the District system and PR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pruning exorbitant\nPublic institutions and Public Service to manageable levels to cut down public\nexpenditure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 Creation of a\nnew Political Culture by laying down minimum educational and other\nqualifications and a Strict Code of Conduct to Politicians and making\nattendance in Parliament compulsory <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 Abolition of Pensions\nand excessive privileges to politicians<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 Ending the tragic\nHouse Maids trade with Middle East countries and replacing it with <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        a) Avenues of domestic employment for\nthem within the country and <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Instead start a programme of\nsending professionals and technicians <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    6 Ending the\nmenace of University ragging by addressing their grievances<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7 Declaring all\nlands over 5000 ft above Sea level as strictly protected natural reserves and\nprohibiting any form of settlement above 3500 ft MSL to protect the water\nresources of the country as water resources decides the entire life system in\nthe country and all economic activities like Agriculture, Hydroelectricity\npotentials and industries<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    8 Making\nBuddhism the State Religion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    9 The question\nof Official Language, National Anthem, one Law \nand  National flag <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    10 Proposed\nAction Plan to solve the plight of the Kandyan Peasants (all Sinhalese) heaped\nup from 1815, not rectified for the past 72 years by any Government<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    11 To free\nPublic service and Judiciary from Politics and Recruitments to Public Service\nand Judiciary only on  merit.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    12 To create an\nIndependent, efficient, productive and People centered Public Service<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    13 A national\nprogramme to develop and diversify the economy to increase productive\nemployment instead of trying to pack all men and women to an already excessive\ngovernment service that has become a big burden to the tax payers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    14 Professional Foreign\nService that can take Sri Lanka to the world and bring the whole world to Sri\nLanka to develop this country <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    15 A programme\nto make Sri Lanka number 1 in the world in Fishing Industry by making use of\nthe Ocean that stretches from Africa in the West to Australia in the East and\nSouth Pole in the South making it naval power by using our strategic location\non the globe in relation to the East and West and its enormous potentials of\nfabulous ports around the Island. The Indian Ocean is the third-largest of the\nworld’s oceanic divisions, covering 70,560,000 km\u00b2 or 19.8% of the water on the\nEarth’s surface. It is bounded by Asia to the north, Africa to the west, and\nAustralia to the east. Wikipedia<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    16 To reduce the\nexcessive public holidays to about 12, the world average, and religious\nholidays to be confined only to the respective religious groups.
