Secondly, the Sri\nLankan police must show if it didn\u2019t happen the evidence to showcase this.\nThirdly, if it did happen, Sri Lanka must arrest all those linked to &amp;\nmasterminds behind it. Fourthly, Sri Lankan police must also unearth the\nmasterminds behind the fake abduction story and expose all involved and why. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If Garnier Barrister Francis\/Sriyalatha Perera WAS\nABDUCTED \u2026\u2026..we want to know<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>When she was\nabducted (date) (corresponding to date embassy claimed)<\/li><li>What time she\nwas abducted (corresponding to time embassy claimed)<\/li><li>Where she was\nabducted (place corresponding to where she &amp; embassy claimed)<\/li><li>By whom she was\nabducted (corresponding to what embassy &amp; international media claimed)<\/li><li>If 5 men\nabducted her (claimed by international media) and have they been apprehended<\/li><li>If her phone was\n\u2018unlocked\u2019 and information taken (claimed by international media)<\/li><li>If she was sexually\nmolested (claimed by embassy)<\/li><li>What type of\nvehicle abducted her (claimed by international media) has the vehicle been\nlocated <\/li><li>Have the international\nmedia releasing the news been asked for their statements<\/li><li>Has the Swiss\nembassy and Swiss Foreign Ministry also given statements accounting for the\nsources for their press releases?<\/li><li>If she was in \u2018deteriorating\nhealth\u2019 &amp; required an air ambulance (claimed by embassy)<\/li><li>If she was asked\n\u2018embassy-related information\u2019 (claimed by embassy) <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So\nin short we need to have the Sri Lankan authorities confirm if<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>All that the\nembassy claimed (BEFORE) Sri Lankan authorities questioned Sriyaltha Perera was\ntrue<\/li><li>All that the\ninternational media publicized (BEFORE) Sri Lankan authorities questioned\nSriyalatha Perera was true<\/li><li>All that the\nSwiss Foreign Ministry press release issued on 27<sup>th<\/sup> November 2019\n(BEFORE) Sri Lankan authorities questioned Sriyalatha Perera was true<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Next we want to know if what Sriyaltha\nsaid (AFTER QUESTIONING BY POLICE) corroborated with all that the Swiss\nembassy, Swiss Foreign Ministry and International media reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If\nSri Lankan sleuths conclude that <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>There was no abduction \u2013 it means all that the Swiss\nembassy claimed, all that the international media reported was NOT TRUE<\/strong>.<\/li><li>It is hUNLIKELY\nthat neither the Swiss embassy nor the international media WILL APOLOGIZE for\nNOT TELLING THE TRUTH \u2026. In all probability they will try to create another\ntwist to the tale. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>BUT,\nwe must now be told or we must in the least start wondering <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Why did the\nSwiss embassy take this version of \u2018abduction\u2019 for a length of time (they kept\nthe woman inside the compound for virtually 13 days without producing her to\npersonally file a statement with the police. It was only after the Colombo\nMagistrate gave a deadline and prevented her travel that the Swiss embassy\nproduced her to file a complaint) <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Who created the \u2018abduction\u2019 story \u2013 was it originally\nfrom Sriyalatha or anyone else? THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION THAT NEEDS\nTO BE ANSWERED <\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Who created abduction story &amp; Why? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If it was\ncreated by Sriyaltha \u2013 why? What was her reason?<\/li><li>If it was\ncreated by Swiss Embassy \u2013 why? <\/li><li>If it was created\nby International media \u2013 why?<\/li><li>Is there some\nother source who created this story? If so, WHO<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>There\nis no need to cite excuse of upsetting bilateral relations and hiding the\ntruth. US strip-searched an Indian diplomat in the US in 2013 and Indo-US\nrelations are on a roll now. There is no need to scare the Sri Lankan\nGovernment with these \u2018upsetting bilateral relations\u2019 stories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swiss\nFDFA is accusing Sri Lanka of not following due process, Sri Lanka must first\nput on record what the due process for any act of crime is \u2013 firstly the victim\nmust make a formal complaint to the police &amp; based on the statement given\nby the victim police begin investigations. Did the Swiss take the victim to\nrecord a statement? NO \u2013 they kept her inside the embassy compound for 13 days.\nIt appears what the embassy said on behalf of her and what she says happened are\ntwo different versions. So naturally anyone will ask \u2013 WHO IS TELLING THE\nTRUTH? The Swiss embassy or Sriyalatha? So police need to get to the bottom of\nthis too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nSwiss FDFA is also accusing Sri Lanka of violating Sriyalatha\u2019s human rights.\nIf the law states that the victim must file complaint for the police to take\naction by virtue of Sriyaltha being a Sri Lankan national, it is the Swiss\nembassy that has violated her human rights for 13 days by keeping her inside\nthe embassy compound. The Sri Lankan authorities have given Sriyaltha facilities\nnot given to other Sri Lankan nationals (lawyer presence during CID interrogation)\nThis is giving her special treatment over and above what other Sri Lankan nationals\nare given \u2013 isn\u2019t this violating the human rights of other Sri Lankan nationals\nin prison? Swiss cannot ask for special human rights treatment for Sriyalatha\nwhile violating human rights of other Sri Lankan nations. By asking Sri Lanka\nto transfer her to a hospital when she is no deteriorating health condition is\nalso seeking special privileges and causing a violation of human rights to\nothers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Certainly\nthe presumption of innocence applies, <strong>what\nwe are all concerned about is who is telling the truth or who is lying.
