TEN COMMANDMENTS FOR POST LTTE SRI LANKA

Our nation owes respect to President Rajapaksha for doing a good job in running the ruthless LTTE to anihiliation. But Sri Lanka is in dire straights and has a long way to recover.

Here is ten commandments for the President for 2009.

1. Shrink number of Cabinet Ministers to 10.

2. Remove all private cars to MP's and have them pick cars daily from a pool.
Mid sized Sedans only. No Luxury cars.

3. Reduce personal staff to these monsters to 5. Other expenses only SLR .
150000 per month

4. Fire all ministers and Secrateries who are incompetent.

5. Make a monthly visit to Parliament to answer questions.

6. Ban all MP's from Interfering into the affairs of the Poiice by making it a
crime. He may have to decree this into law.

7. Remove all brothers from political office unless they are elected by popular
vote.

8. Publish annual wealth declarations of all MP's on the internet.

9. Publish all goverment expenditure and contract awards on the internet so
that the public knows where their money goes.

10. Bring 100 corrupt politicians and senior goverment officials to stand trial.


Now watch how Sri Lanka will take off as a dignified nation.
