BRITISH TROTSKYITES WITH
SRI LANKA'S NAVA SAMA SAMAJA PARTY SPEAKERS TO SUPPORT LTTE TERRORISTS
IN LONDON
(By Walter Jayawardhana )
The Trotskyites in Britain are going to hold a meeting in London with
speakers from Nawa Sama Samaja Party (NSSP) from Sri Lanka in support
of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam.
The Socialist Resistance Movement, a Trotskyite organization in Britain
in an announcement said that they would campaign for the self determination
of the Tamils, a slogan of the LTTE.
The announcement which alleges, the military conflict with the Fascist
LTTE as an undeclared war against all Tamils, also says that the British
media is silent about the 'atrocities' conducted by the Sri Lanka
government.
The Trotskyite movement , which is connected with one of the splintered
sections of the Fourth International says the NSSP of Sri Lanka is
a branch of the Fourth International, that would ideally and eventually
launch the world revolution.
'In particular, bombing raids have killed,' says the Trotskyite statement
that has reproduced all LTTE slogans verbatim, 'more than 3000 according
to the governments own figures, disappearances are taking place daily
and the A9 route to the north of the island is closed, preventing
essential humanitarian aid getting through.'
The Trotskyite movement is going to explain why and how it is supporting
a separatist racist and Fascist movement in Sri Lanka and justify
forming a state called Eelam carved out of the island nation.
'Those organizing against this in Sri Lanka are under extreme pressure.
Tamil MP Nadaraja Raviraj was gunned down in Colombo on November 9
and other activists have received serious death threats,' says the
anouncement and it is silent about the clymore bombs and suicide bomber
attacks by the LTTE that has become almost a daily occurrence in Sri
Lanka.
The announcement does not say who killed Nadaraja Raviraj.
Requesting people in Britain to campaign against Sri Lanka the announcement
says the Trotskyite rally to support the LTTE will be held at the
Indian YMCA Hall in Fritzroy Square in London , December 13 at 7.30
p.m.
