DEFEAT THE MALICIOUS PROPAGANDA WAR AND RUTHLESSLY COUNTER THE TERRORIST OFFENSIVES.

A.A.M.NIZAM MATARA.

Tiger terrorists have made 61 children victims and over 100 injured in a child detainee training camp in their vain pursuit for establishing a fascist rule over the Northern and Eastern provinces. Video clips shown in the terrorist Websites itself dispels that the concerned victims were neither students nor orphans as it was claimed by the terrorists, the pro-LTTE media, NGO rogues and the shameless dollar hungry peace merchants. The government and the security forces whilst continuing with the admirable expedition to effectively repel terrorist attacks and totally eliminate the terrorist menace haunting our glorious nation and threatening the peaceful life of not only Sri Lankan but also the foreign dignitaries should also open a sturdy front in the media realm to successfully counter the fictitious and distorted propaganda being spread worldwide accusing our gallant forces of violating human rights.

Reports in the terrorist media itself contradict each other on the incident. One report claims that “over 150 girl students in GCE O/L and GCE A/L classes in different schools in Mullaitheevu have been seriously injured by the aerial bombardment. Another report says that these were orphaned children who had been housed in the premises called “Sencholai” at Vallipuram, in Mullaithivu. Another report says that the victims were students from the Mullaitheevu area who were engaged in an educational programme related to humanitarian aid.
Another report says that girls from the surrounding areas come to this orphanage to receive “first aid” training which includes life and leadership skills.

However, an independent Tamil Website referring to these news items claims that “mostly orphan girls are being given intensive training to be sent to various places should there be a need for suicide bombing.
The so-called orphanages have become the emergency training centres to avoid being exposed on jungle terrains. These orphanages were always the residence of the Child Soldiers but camouflaged as children's homes, and the Sencholai Children's Centre was one of them”. Newspaper reports also said that a Community Leader from Kilinochchi confirmed that the target was not an orphanage as claimed by the LTTE but was in fact one of many civilian training camps operated by the terrorists.
He has said that school girls were taken to the camp and given arms training, and at the time of aerial raids they were been given arms training like those given to most civilians in the terrorist occupied areas.

The SLMM spokesman Thorfnnur Omarsson after visiting the location has said that the victims were round the ages of 17 -20 and the geography of the area was ideal to conduct arms training and hence it was unable to clearly state if the location was purely a school or a rebel training facility.

The video clips being shown by the terrorist websites “Nitharsanam”
and “Tamil Editors”, and also shown by pro-LTTE South Indian “Sun TV”
clearly dispels the terrorist claims of school children and orphanages. These video clips clearly shows that the location was an open area in a jungle location ideal for crash military training, and even for shooting practices. The building shown, one quite large galvanized sheeting roofed hall, an old well, and a small Calicut tiled room like edifice, that can never be taken as an orphanage.
Anyone watching these video without any bias will find that there is no evidence at all to uphold the claim of victims being students. It is also amazing to note in these video clips, some mothers wailing for the dead or injured youth. How come these so-called orphans suddenly inherit mothers to weep if they were orphans. Were these so-called mothers hired forweeping? The red-colour sari cladded woman shown in the video seems starting to weep following a as per the command from someone staying behind the camera.

This is not the first time that the terrorist outfit, the pro-LTTE media, rogue NGOs and dollar hungry Sinhala peace merchants, and the so-call “Anti-War” Hulan Pereras have attempted to mislead the masses and the world community to implicate the government and whitewash the terrorists. According to these enemies of the nation every time someone gets killed in the Northern or Eastern province it happens to be an “innocent civilian” who had sought refuge in a Christian Church despite so many Kovils in these areas. When someone outside the terrorist occupied areas gets killed it is by an “unidentified gunman”
or by an “armed group” . For them the tiger terrorists are the most serene human beings found anywhere in the world.

Defence Spokesman Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has challenged anyone to prove that it was not a terrorist transit camp and offered to make arrangements for Norwegian facilitators to visit the place. He has told journalists that the child soldiers were kept in this location to be sent to join the LTTE cadres fighting the security forces in the North. He deserves commendation for questioning whether they expect the government to pamper the terrorists when they come to kill our solders.

The U.N. Secretary General Kofi Anan who blindly issues statements on Sri Lankan matters has made another unpardonable blunder by issuing a statement expressing his profound concern reportedly on “dozens of students killed in a school as a result of air strikes in the North- East.” As this stupid statement could have damaging effect on the government’s stand and could help the terrorist outfit the Foreign Ministry and our representative in the U.N. should vehemently protest about this statement and demand a revision and an apology.

Similarly the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has also strongly condemned the Sri Lankan government presumably based on the misinformation provided by the pro-LTTE elements in the Tamil Nadu. Recently he got our Police personnel who were being trained in Coimbatore expelled, that too on the request of the pro-LTTE elements. Our High Commission in Madras should make immediate arrangements to apprise this octogenarian who seems to be acting on others instigation, on the correct situation in Sri Lanaka as the pro-LTTE elements seems to be making a thunderous issue about the so-called refugees landing in Rameswaram, and gradually pushing Tamil Nadu to openly act against Sri Lanka. It was reported that even today (15th August) a batch of refugees arrived there totaling the recent arrivals to nearly 8,000.

As one parliamentarian has rightly mentioned in the August Assembly recently this is not “Ranil Wickremasinghe’s backboneless government”. It has a mandate from the people to eliminate terrorism from the nation and there is a growing admiration and approval throughout the country on the right steps being taken against the terrorists. March forward unwaveringly and determinedly, reject and repulse detractors, turn back only when the golden objective of freeing this glorious nation from the terrorist menace is successfully achieved. Let us perish or prevail together as one undivided, unitary sovereign nation.
