The Death of a Terrorist - Press On

Prof. Hudson McLean

It was indeed excellent news to hear that the SLAF struck where the SLAF should have done months ago. Taking out Brigadier (sic) Tamilselvam was spot-on, based on intelligence, was a direct hit against the heart of the terrorism in Kilinochchi.

Well done fellas! Do NOT Stop! Keep on going!

The SLDF should not await to see how the main thug, Velupillai Prabhakaran is going to respond or retaliate. The demise of his right hand trusted friend must have sent him reeling in shock and awe! His minions are either in a state of similar shock, frightened, or thinking how to avoid a similar fate, or trying to get the boats ready to leave for Norway.

It is well known fact that when a close member of the family dies under tragic circumstances, the mind boggles, logic disappears, disarray sets in with muddles and confusion.

That is the best time to improvise and attack. One after another.

On another note, I received an email from a Sinhala Patriot in USA, explaining his attitude towards Prof. Rohan Gunaratne.

One thing I know about Dr. Rohan Gunaratne at Nanyang University Singapore, he is a highly intelligent and a well respected intellectual of world class. And a real Sinhala Patriot at that.

I, for one, would never or indeed even try to influence the thinking of Professor Gunaratne. He is his own man with a highly complex forward thinking academic. Sri Lanka should be proud to have such world class person, who still defends the Motherland.

Furthermore, please remember the democratic right of the Freedom of Expression. And in a public forum such as Lankaweb, we should all endeavour to cultivate civilized conduct, expression and proper usage of vocabulary.

Language is the backbone of communication. Whether the government decides to teach Tamil to the Sinhala or Sinhala to the Tamils, let there be a choice. Look at the opportunity in Tamil Nadu. Those in Tamil Nadu will not learn Sinhala. Whats wrong if the Sinhala people learn Tamil to take advantage of the commercial opportunities with a 100 million community?

Back to the rest of the remnants of the illegal squatters, terrorising innocent civilians in Sri Lanka, all Patriots should support the President and General Gothabhaya Rajapaksa in their efforts to lead the anahilation of Terrorism.

Donate blood and in any other way one could help to bring about Peace and Civility to this Great Little Island in the Sun.

As we all know, apart from the human wealth, Sri Lanka has oil, mineral and gas deposits around the Island. The traditional assets, above and below the soil has abundant prospects. The Tuna Belt follows the hot stream from the South East Asian Archipelago right upto the Bay of Bengal.

And Erik Solheim tried his best to turn Sri Lanka into another Congo and Eritrea. He failed. I really wish that the Dosai King was with the Tamilselvam gang on the 2nd November, enjoying his breakfast, which would have been his last!

The citizens of Sri Lanka are sitting on top of a Gold Mine. Wealth. Opportunity.

Get rid of the Tamil Tiger Terrorists first! Just Press On!
