Sir:

Chancing of being accused to be cynical, I have to admit that I have a profound difficulty to accept Norway’s honesty when you say “Norway Impatient for Cluster Bomb Ban” (Feb. 28).

Once I take this Messiah’s mask off, what I find is a fraud that funds the Sri Lankan Tamil Tigers, the most ruthless terrorists in the world, who uses millions of Norwegian kronor to manufacture Claymore Mines with thousands of steel ball bearings, to act as cluster bombs that fan out when exploded killing hundreds of soldiers and innocent bystanders who happen to be in the shooting range of that cluster bomb fan-assault.

/The Tentative January 14, 2007, Report/ prepared by Norwegians Against Terrorism (NAT) group has provided evidence that in 2005 the Norwegian government had provided the Tamil Tiger Peace Secretariat 15 million Norwegian kronor (US$ 900,00), and the Tamil Rehabilitation Organization (TRO), a well known Tamil Tiger front organization with 5.6 million NOK (US$ 2.3 million).

I submit to the Norwegians that they should stick to what they do best and hand out the five Alfred Nobel Prizes each year, without trying to hoodwink the world that they are a bunch of ‘goody two shoes’ peaceniks.
